SpiderMan3 Trailer 2!

Also, DOMS, don't forget the Punisher, he killed all the bad guys too. His movie wasn't great, but I still own it. :)

I didn't forget him. He ruled in Big Nothing. It's just that he's not a "super" hero.

Did you know that the Punisher was based on Don Pendleton's The Executioner series? The first 5 books for that series are awesome.

Big Nothing?

I guess you're right that he's not a superhero. As a kid, he was one of the first comics I owned, he takes bad ass to a whole nother level.

Sorry, it was Return to Big Nothing. It's a graphic novel (think a very large comic) that he was in back in 1990 or so.

I still remember the last lines of that comic:

"Their laughter dies out all over the world. They know. They laugh at the law. The rich ones who buy it and twist it to their whims. The other ones, who have nothing to lose, who don't care about themselves, or other people. All those who think they're above the law, or outside it, or beyond it. They know all the law is good for is to keep good people in line. And they all laugh.

They laugh at the law. But they don't laugh at me."

Everything you've said is 180º oposite of my opinion. Spidey 2 sucked, Xmen was great, and the new batman was the best yet. FF4 was the only thing you were close on, that movie sucked.

I was really disapointed in Punisher, both of them. Well actually the last Punisher could have been better directed, there was something missing.
Maybe it wasn't dark enough like the last batman. I dunno.

Is it worth the 10 bucks and a drive to barnes and noble?

Oh yea, and is it worth the playboy i'll buy at the same time to offset the fact that I'm buying a comic as an adult?

Cool....did you actually remember that?

Just bring a kid around. Kids nowadays don't appreciate comic books.

Yep. I still remember a lot of the comics that I read in my teens. Like issues 340 & 341 of the Incredible Hulk. It's a great battle between the Hulk & Wolverine. Right at the beginning of the fight, the Hulk grabs Wolverine, beats him brutally, and then throws him, with full strength, into the ground. He figures that Wolverine is dead, so he starts to walk away when Wolverine says, "Let's...let's try that again." and then attacks. I should point out that at this point, the Hulk is in his gray incarnation.

Heh, I found the cover...and guess who did the art work.

John Romita Sr. was great. His son, however, was horrible. And the crappy thing was that he landed a Spider-man series. I think it was the Spectacular Spider-man series. I remember how pissed I was. Not only that, but the new writer that had working with him sucked too.

Most of the credit that Stan Lee takes for Marvel was actually done by Jack.

You do know your comic books, I do recall reading some of the new stuff and was so disapointed, I wanted to start a collection for my kids but that was too crappy to collect.

Jack Kirby was awesome, although Stan did take the credit without him we souldn't have marvel comics.

Kirby was great at his sthick and Stan was the brains.

It's not just comics. I know a lot of things and forget few. It's simply a byproduct of having ADD, OCD, and a good memory. :)

I look at them the same way that I do at Wozniak and Jobs.

You have ADD and OCD, you must have kept your mother busy.

Who's Wozniak, just kidding. Aren't they enemies now.

Some people prefer to work in the background and stay away from the shiny lights.

Actually, I was rather docile until the age of 18. All I needed was some input. Life was so much better when I discovered the library. I was 12 and the first books that I picked up were L. Ron Hubbard's Battlefield Earth and The Complete and Unabridged Adventures of Sherlock Homes by the Oxford Library. I still remember a lot of those books.

Not that I'm aware of.

That was definitely Steve.

I like him, but not sure this time. Then again, I said the same thing for Michael Keaton.

Hey, I was in the barber's office and saw a Carnage figure. I had to explain that it wasnt Venom and that it was Carnage. Can someone tell me how Carnage comes into play again...?

After Eddie Brock (Venom) gets beaten and put back into jail his cellmate is a psychopath named Cletus Kassidy. The symbiote eventually finds him and when it breaks him out it leaves part of itself behind by mistake when the wall breaks and part of it scratches off. The symbiote latches onto Kassidy and with his insane mind creates Carnage, who then goes after Venom but kills many people along the way. Spidey gets involved and Venom and Spidey actually join forces to beat him.

Then there are many offshoots of the symbiote as well creating several others. Wikipedia has a full explanation of all this stuff if you search for it.
