Halloween...groundbreaking, one of its kind, one of the scariest movies ever. Possibly his most popular.

The Thing...creative, gory, my personal favorite. Isolation, aliens, mistrust, total hell. I actually like the music too..as simplistic as it is.

Big Trouble in Little China...funnest movie I have ever watched. Creative, yet simple story. Different twist of the supernatural + chinese life.

They Live...another fun movie, has one of the most realistic street fights on film, dark, funny, and has en end of the world spin.

Escape from New York...is Kurt Russell Carpenter's doll? New meaning to the term "bad ass," you never knew being bad felt so good.

Prince of Darkness...darkest of his movies, IMO. NO nice ending, gory, scary, devilishly fun.

The Fog...not much to say. Twas ok during the 80s, now it just looks kinda uncreative. Another bad ending...which I like!

Christine...loved the music. beautiful car. stupidest story, yet entertaining. High replay value.

Starman...love story? Unique, eerie, boring.

***MULTIPLE CHOICE***

I deliberately didnt include any other movie that wasnt included in the 80s, cuz I think theyre all kinda "eh." Village of the Damned, In the Mouth of Madness, and some others were ok. Go ahead and list the ones you like!

"I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick ass! And I'm all out of bubblegum!"

Defintely Big Trouble in Little China.

I liked the way that Kurt's character would react to the monsters. It wasn't "Ho, hum. I'm going to kill you evil monster." It was "No. No. No. Come on! What was that! Did you see that?!" (almost hysterical).

Big Trouble in Little China is one of the best films ever...I thought I was one of only a few who liked it but I guess not, I had to borrow a friends VCR and we dubbed copies of a rented one for all of our friends...

There's a starman waiting in the sky, he'd like to come and meet us but he thinks he'll blow our minds.

Halloween is one of the best horror of all time.

I actually love The Thing. That really is my favorite and I wonder why he never made a sequel.

Other movies I can watch over and over are Big Trouble, They Live, Christine. Even though I like Halloween, I cant watch it over and over...

Love his movies.
Is he still making movies?

Does anyone remember the original "The Thing" ?

I remembered it. Same concept, but not nearly as good as Carpenter's.

The original was just an alien man...who eventually died of electricity.
It was old, it was still black and white.
