GSP injured, off UFC 67 Card.

Meh it was a shit card anyway, just hyped with big names

I think the Anderson Silva/Travis Lutter matchup is better than most people think it will be.

Most Americans have this perception of Anderson Silva being invincible. Well, he's not, not even close. He's fought 2 overrated idiots with horrible gameplans. Lutter is a very experienced fighter and will be very competitive. I can't wait for this one!!

I agree. Lutter is a very talented and experienced fighter. Should be a good fight. Did you see Silva in his Mink coat at UFC 66? I didn't recognize him until they pointed him out.

Yeah it should be really good. I respect both guys a lot. I liked how Anderson came into the octagon after Lutter won the finale and congratulated him and joked with him. Lutter also seems like a down to earth, hard working family man who can hold his own on the ground. It would make for a great story for him to beat the odds.

It's a good matchup and we'll probably get our first look at the middleweight champ on the ground too.

Iain ya lost me on that one. I thought it was a good card if it had big names on it.

Cro Cop is used to fighting guys like Hunt. Hunt has a head of granite. No-one in UFC can compare the level of power/KO imunity of Hunt, so whomever he is against is going to be a can ... but hey it's still gonna be a cool thing to watch that left kick knock out someone else.

Rampage has flash and will pick up and throw down most anyone in the way just cuz he can. He prolly gets a buzz from watching the highlight clip.

wtffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Definitely.

I wonder if they'll find a replacement or just scratch him off the card.

If Serra is guaranteed a title shot, they should scrap his fight so he doesn't get beat by some other chump.

I'd imagine replace the fight. I hope its another welterweight fight. I don't think Dana will disappoint us. Maybe Sanchez.....doubt it.

I thought the card looked good.

Seeing Silva vs Lutter plus Rampage plus Cro Cop in the same night sounds great.

Hahaha, Anderson knocked out Chris Leben in 49 seconds...awesome.

If he gets beat he's not worthy of the shot anyway. He should fight whomever is next in line IMHO.

Yeah, but if it was written in to the contract of the show that he gets a title shot no matter what, it is probably better he does it before getting whipped by some creampuff impervious to the foot stomp, which is about 99.9% of anyone, including small children.

So Sanchez? Maybe a Parisyan rematch?

I think Serra is coming in severely underrated here. He gave Parisyan all he could handle and I think he'd give Diego a great fight too. Remember Serra is a natural 155er too, so we might see him as LW soon, especially since he won't beat GSP.

Shit any fighter knows just throw a spinning backfist against Serra and the fight is yours.... he falls for it everytime, even when he is prepared for it :p

Iain I take it back ... you're right. The next UFC card sux balls. It just needs more fights. Only having Cro Cop and Rampage is not enough. White needs to buck up and fill out a two hour pay-per-view or he is ripping people off.

I wouldn't pay for that ... to fricken skinny.

Fill that card out Dana ... :pissed:... WTF?!?!?!?

I dunno I just get pissed with the once a month tribute PPV, let it go a few months and build up a solid card for PPVs instead of a bunch of filler matches with some big names. JMO. But hey whatever.

Sanchez is supposed to fight Matt Hughes, I believe. That should be another quick fight.

Sanchez would work ... good match up for Serra. He'd be through after that though cuz Sanchez would destroy him. If Sanchez can get past him then he's at the top of the contender heap. If he would just get his striking game up to the level he is about to compete at ...
