You guys are gonna see another guy come outta Texas soon. Rick Perry. If you see him hold on to your wallet. He's our current governor. He is trying to sell our lottery. Before he tries to sell it he first rapes it for projects not intended to be funded by the lottery when the people voted it in. Our lottery here in Texas was set up to fund the schools, but has been used to fund all kinda shit instead. Sound familiar? Social security?

A lot of states have pulled that crap - and that idea. Perry sure acts like he has a "mandate" - even though I don't think he would have been re-elected if there hadn't been four candidates actively running in the field. But the lottery scam is amazing - as much as I disliked most of the things Georgia did when I lived there, the one thing I liked was that they used that lottery money to provide free tuition to college for students who kept a "B" average in high school, I think. . .

It went a lot deeper than that. He ran the Democrats out of town as he re-districted the state in favor of the Republicans for both the electoral college and his own re-election.

I'm not being mean to Decker ... I'm helping Decker improve his overall political usefulness by requesting that he actually post something with content. How's that being mean? I am ... despite my constant bi-partisan/BushCo/Iraq war bashing ... a conservative ex-republican. He is a liberal. We will butt heads on issues but never with any hard feelings ... he'll learn the error of his ways and eventually he'll come around to a more conservative way of thinking.

Thank you for your help. I point out that Boortz's article is following the rightwing echochamber script where all sorts of unsubstantiated claims are made and regurgitated endlessly. Those claims are propaganda. I simply point that out in the underlined portions of my posting. I also supply some similar statements about Boortz to illustrate the foolishness of his "analytical stylings." If I'm missing the boat on this substantively, let me know.

And my writings are 'drivel' not 'dribble.' But then again if you think calling Sen. Clinton 'Hitlary' is an incisive political critique, then our discussion is pretty much over.
