Question about True Protein

Has anyone ever used their products. They seem a bit on the pricey side for Whey Isolate.

I just bought 2 mixes that I custom blended. One for morning and one for evening. My experience is very short (just about a week) so I cannot comment on the effect. However, I can comment on the taste. I have been using All the Whey (and will continue to use it for my base and PWO shakes) for a few years now.

The morning one is whey blend and egg white powder, with vitamins and BCAAs. Dutch chocolate and is very tasty. Mixes great with plain NF yogurt.

The evening one is casine, whole egg powder, BCAAs, glutamine and flax oil (powder). Vanilla flavored and tastes really bad. It was suggested to me to get the tropical flavor next time. In the mean time, I mix it with some diluted tropical gatorade and it is drinkable. Service was quick, and yea a little pricey, but you get to custom mix it so you do not need to add any other supps. I will take me a while to go thru it as I intend on using it as one of my choices as a last meal to cottage cheese.

Good info thanks. I am more looking at it for a way to get more protein into my diet. I'm only getting 150g or so now and need closer to 250g. I'm doing great at weight loss, but I don't want to lose muscle as well.

I actually talked to a guy at my gym tonight and he brought them up. Said he's been using them for a few years and is a pretty solid guy in his own right. When you break it down, most of your proteins sold at GNC or the like are $8-10/lb proteins and don't work as good as true protein is said to.

Everyone that has reccomended it to me is in phenominal shape. So there must be something to it. I'm going to order some by the weeks end. The tropical looks good and the fact that you can sweeten it and make your own blend.
