The Beatles wrote some songs that touch the heart.

Simple, and beautifully written. What great melodies. I believe true genius, sometimes and often, comes in simplicity.

To say a lot with few worlds; to say a lot with few notes.


Note: after the Beatles broke up that was it for the individual members' creativity.

McCartney's only hit and memorable tune with the "Wings" was "Band on the Run."


The Beatles wrote about hope, friendship, love, likes, and peace.
 
Beatles were also a great example of how the singing and lyrics can really make the song. They played simple music, but the dynamic of the singing with it made the songs awesome.

Awesome is correct.
 
I read that Paul wrote Eleanor Rigby about his passed father. Father McKenzie is supposedly McCartney.
 
Imagine how easy it would be for anyone in the Beatles to get laid.
