Low-budget, not well known, not even sure if it was in theaters, wasn't publicized much, It's not an A movie by any means, it's not a C movie, I put it in the B movie category.... :thumb:

Hmm, I had no idea. I loved the movie, thought it was great. I caught it on Encore a while ago.

I think you're mistaken. The babysitting movie and toy soldiers were both big movies in the late 80's.

Wouldn't really consider this a B, but my favorite indy film.

OK, any movie about babysitting sucks badly, and should be doomed to sit in a locked vault, never again to see the light of a showreel.

Unless of course it is porn, involving drop dead gorgeous babysitters........

Adventures in Babysitting and Toy Soldiers were big budget.

What was Toy Soldiers budget? And Adventures in Babysitting's budget was moderate at best. 'A' movies from 1987 - Lethal Weapon, The Untouchables, Robocop, Full Metal Jacket. No way Adventures fits in with these in any respect. 1991 - Terminator 2, Silence of the Lambs, Backdraft, Hook (All A movies).

Those are all mega-blockbusters. Toy Soldiers and Adventures in Babysitting were both well advertised and in theaters for a while. Both not typical of B movies. And both grossed much more than a B movie..... Soldiers 20 + million and Babysitting 34 million.

Yeah I wouldnt consider them B movies either.

By the way nut, I cant see your pics til I get home. Can you type what you listed for now so it can satisfy my curiosity?

Best of the Best 2, and Clerks was the Indy film.

I liked Best of the Best. I think 2 was about someone fuckign with the american japanese guy and eric roberts right? Robert's family?

Yes. Eric's kid. The chinese guy (forget name) had to fight that huge dude (bracchus).

A movie can still gross a lot, become hits, and be in the theaters while still being 'B' movies. Take Saw, Swingers, Clerks, KIDS, Blair Witch for examples. All were B movies with B list actors at the time and became huge hits. I was using the blockbuster movies as examples of A movies. B levels are a step down.

Yeah, Best of the Best was badass. It's kinda sad how bad of an actor Eric Roberts is though.
