Nice set up man.
Like the look of the Mv8800, and the nord rack rocks. The Ms2000 also looks like a serious piece of kit. Not a great fan of progressive house, but sounds like you did a good job on the tracks, liked the lead synth pattern on 'progress', and the stereo mix sits well.
It takes a lot of time to produce tracks, and mix them well. I'm running an analogue 32 channel desk, keyboard and a reverb unit (aux) into a PC, with a lot of VSTi's and sequencers aka Logic etc. on it. Bass & Electric guitar + Fx.
Set-up not quite finished yet, need to get it sorted so I can start bangin out some tracks.
alright. to get the facts straight. My mom and dad are not lawyers and doctors. I dont even live with my mom. I lived in Newark with my cousin thats why I went to Essex county juvenile detention center. and wash heights with my grandma. and yonkers with other cousin. and camden with my bro. Now I live with my uncle in Jersey. and BTW about the kid that said u cant make 65-75 thousand a year. drug dealers make that in a week or 2. any other questions?
Hey goob. Thanks man. I just actually picked up the Mv8800 (it was just released last month). I have to say I am absolutely loving the way it streamlines my workflow and not to mention the converters on it sound so sweet. I am not quite finished setting up the new studio but once I am, I'll post pictures... and LOTS of new material.
Do you have anything I can listen to? Also, which board, keyboard, and rev unit are you running?
I have not quite finished my set-up yet, so have'nt completly finished any songs, except for old stuff. Guess, once I'm happy i'll upload some stuff so you guys can critique.
Running an ART reverb outboard and a Casio CZ1000, which is mainly used as a midi instrument/controller for VSTi's, but it does possess some great progamming posibilities and cool 80's sounds. I use Logic, as the main sequencer, but have lots of other utilities, sequencers, audio editors and trackers. Not to mention, record decks, guitar fx etc... It's taken me about 8 years to assemble so far.
Think i'd swap most of this for that mv8800!!!!
Haha, that's a nice humble set-up man. I know I would definitely be able to bang out some nice tracks with it. The Mv8800 is definitely where it's at. I am using it to record, arrange, and even mix down. I am trying to keep ym signal flow as clean as possible hence the reason I selected a few good pieces instead of a lot of random pieces like I use to have. Well keep me posted bro.
The only drug dealers that make that much in a week or 2 are cvs, walgreens, riteaid, etc...
ok. Im not a drug dealer. im just saying that they do.
So how do you make 60-70k a year?
