I have been searching for this damn episode of 30 days for the whole day, I found about 20 different ones and none of them work! WTF, such a pain in the ass- File sharing sites are way better, except you have to have someone give you the link. 30 days S02E06

Help me, help me please

has anyone tried utorrent? i just switched to it from azureus. it's faster, no java, no install, and uses 8 instead of 59 mb of ram. :nerd:

I just removed my old client, and installed that client, and than tried fletchers link and it's still not working

to uninstall something that is not in add/remove programs should you just delete the program files?

Torrents are the greatest thing since sliced bread. They aren't idiot proof, so you might actually have to do a little work to figure out the process.

Once you learn good sources, good trackers, and how to preview files before they are done torrents a great.

Get vlc media player and avipreview media player to test files while they are only about 10% complete to make sure you got the right copy.

Utorrent is my favorite BT program now, and I've used about 4-5 others.

Everyone brags about azureus, but I couldn't stand it.

That's what I use. No resource hogging and I like the speed graph. I am having some kind of router issues though. I returned my belkin and bought this linksys wrt54g and still have the same issue so it's gotta be interference from somewhere. I've switched channels, increased the power in winblows & still the same trouble ... :wits:

Carry it back, and get a wrt54gl or wrt54gs. Flash the router with dd-wrt custom firmware upgrade. DD-WRT is badass and is optimized for bit torrent. You can also over clock your router and boost the transmitter power. I have been burning up bit torrent since I did that.

I bought this router to do that ... but the wrt54g is just as good as the gs I was told ...

Check your keyboard-to-seat adapter.

Click on his link, then click on the "Download" button:

t-download.gif

I know how to do it lol. When the client tries to start to download the torrent it says error, and just stays at 0

Ok got it to work, but I still think torrents suck because your downloads are only as fast as the other persons uploads, which usually suck balls  File Sharing Sites like mega upload, and sendspace are waayyyyy easier and faster. But you have to find a forum were people post the links so you could find what you want.

Dumb question...but have you opened the torrent ports in the port forwarding section of your routers configurations page???

They lied to you. First off, first 5 versions of the wrt54g had more memory than the last two versions 6 and 7. So they stripped the router of its memory to save money. You can't properly flash versions 6 and 7. If you are lucky enough to find a wrt54g version 1-5 then you are all set, but I am willing to bet you have a version 7. Second of all, the low memory size means the Nat table that holds the thousands off IP addresses required to connect to high population trackers is going to fill up. When the Nat table fills up your router becomes a brick. The 56gl has more on board memory so that doesn't happen.

The wrt54gl was only $10.00 more, i got mine off of newegg.

Check to see if that program directory has a remove icon. It might be called "unwise". If not, just delete the folder.
Or if you haven't installed anything else since you installed that program you can go to System Restore and roll abck to a date before you installed the unwanted program...I do it all the time....
