not trying to sound like a SC geek. but i am pretty good and what i do with them is take them and do a hit and run on units and keep attacking till the unit is dead. firebats are good on zerglings and zlots especialy when stimed.

Yea, each race has a counter for another race. So TvP you would go with tanks and vultures. Set the tanks in siege, build some turrets with scv's and then place mines around so you can kill zealots and dark templar. The protoss dragoons will get smoked by the tanks.

Or firebats for zerglings and zealots stimmed like mentioned above with medics and marines.

There are so many possible combinations and counters that it would take hours to list them all. Thats why the game is so great.. you can always do somthing to tilt the balance in your favor. We should get on battle.net and play sometime.

Oh yeah, anyone else think those guys on the bikes were useless? Theyd be so much better if they fired faster. Plus their mines suck too. They end up following the enemies toward my guys. Then when they make contact, they kill everyone.

I think the Firebats are kinda useless too.
I loved firebats, but I agree that the guys on the bikes (vultures) were useless. They were annoying "hick" sounding too.

By the way, there is a new and long gameplay video posted on the official StarCraft2 website!

I have to say, after watching the video, I'm worried I won't be able to adjust to all the new units (they seem really complex). My room mate told me he read somewhere there will be the same number of units for each race as in the first game, so for every new unit, there will be one less old unit. No sign of any hydralisks or dragoons.

There are dragoons, they are different though, they shoot lasers, and watching the gameplay videos there looks to be 2 kinds. Normal, and dark, and the dark can teleport. There are zealots, they can rush, and some sort of a walker with a beam cannon? looks like dropships can create a power grid incase a pylon is destroyed and the zealots can teleport as long as there is a grid there. Flying fortress kicks ass.. and also some large ships with beam weapons. and ships similar to corsairs that can multi attack

T
Looks like the terran marines can be equipped with jump packs as well! There are siege tanks, and goliaths or some sort of a mech.. ghosts that have nuke capability, seems to nuke faster but the nuke mark is HUGE! Thats crappy. And ofcourse battle cruisers.

Z
Mutalisks, nydus canals, and zerglings that blow up. Not much..

Tis thread makes less sense to me than a KEFE video....
