i have heard a lot of hype about vitargo, i cant find any research on it, or anyone posting results, everything that i find is just a sales pitch for the product, has anyone taken this or have any info on it?

I will tell you that I very much like Vitargo/WMS. I now use it post training instead of dextrose or maltodextrin, as well as sometimes in my preworkout shake too. I find that it is far easier on my stomach and that it helps me recover better as well. I am also able to stay lean on it, while dextrose seems to slightly kick up my bodyfat when I use too much.

While far from a miracle supplement I find it definitely has advantages, however, it is not something essential to buy if money is an issue. For those that have to work with a budget, dextrose or malto will do just fine. If on the other hand you can afford to allocate as much funds as you wish toward bodybuilding supps, then I do recommend Vitargo or WMS.

I've used, and still use Vitargo, I've also used Malto and dextrose, personaly I think the malto is the best, but my gains are "cleaner" with Vitargo, so I use Vitargo now, but I might mix it up with malto at some point.

Like 1fast400 Said, they say waxy maize starch has allmost the same effect, but I've yet to try it.

vitargo and wms are not the same thing, close though. some people sing its praises, some say the way it is absorbed is misrepresented.

They once were the same thing...but no longer.

no, but i understand where you are coming from. vitargo is a patented product, even if they didnt change the source, you cannot buy it in bulk unless it is in its patented vitargo form. so very similar, but vitargo is patented for a reason.

Vitargo was once made from Waxy Maize Starch. If you are going to try and tell me that this was a different kind of WMS then is sold by other sources I am not going to agree.

vitargo was made from WMS yes, but it is a patented process, and if it were the same as WMS then every store that sells WMS would be breaking a patent and be chargeable. Vitargo is created through a patented process, all of the research is for Vitargo, and since you cannot patent a food, they patented the process of creating the desired results. when you buy bulk WMS it is simply that, WMS, it has not been altered to become vitargo, so they are in fact two different things. now the company that makes vitargo has found that they could change their source and still get the same results and they did, but the principle still stands, WMS is NOT vitargo. similar, but not the same. thats all i am saying.

For the sake of those choosing which to use...the results are exactly the same (at least for me and dozens of my clients).

Yes, the process might be patented, but it does not seem to change any of its properties (at least not enough to make it markedly more effective).
