no but i like dexter and weeds
I've seen more tits in the ten episodes (8) this season than you'll see live in your life. It's hardly a chick show.
If you like Dexter and Weeds, I think you'll like Californication.
I've seen it, but it didn't hook me. I saw 5 or 6 episodes. Some decent stuff, but not great IMHO.
Not Sopranos great, or Entourage witty but it's pretty darn entertaining.
I'll take your word for it, but just in case you might want to put one of these in before the next episode.

I'm terrible at watching shows consistently. Its gotta be like slight ADD or something because i'll be hooked on a show and watch it all the time then just stop. I have On Demand so i used to catch up on episodes of Californication, Dexter, and Weeds but i haven't watched any of them in a while. Shows bore me, i rather watch movies, sports, or Discovery/History/Science channel.

Ever check out Men of A Certain Age? If you enjoy Californication you'll love this show as well. For me there was some build up because it is one of the campaigns we are working on at work(I work for a marketing company), but now that it's aired I have to say the hype was very well deserved.
The characters are different from Hank, but they are all at that stage and it has that dramedy feel which incorporates good character development rather than just mindlessly spewing laughs.

Californication really lost me this year until the final episode last week.

Dexter 4th season was amazing. Californication, I watched only the first season. Again so you wont forget, The Wire HBO.

You really thought this season had a backbone to it?
It was more pussified but you have to expect that. In the end Moody will have to totally slut out or get back with his woman, I think the show is going with the latter.
Let me tell you the problem..
I will ask you every week if you started watching it. You have to watch at least 5 episodes for the show to get a grip on you. Obviously starting on season 1.
The shows ratings were dropping rapidly, from what I had read, so I think you're right in that he'll return back to his old woman and once and for all become the husband, father and family man he's never succeeded at being.
This could be a bad week, but definitely hold me to it.
For me, television is purely about having enough time to watch it that doesn't conflict with sports games, etc.
DVR helps me out immensely, as does the internet, but I definitely have missed out on shows in the past because I was too busy.
Red Dwarf, now that was a hell of a show, Dr. Who also....
