You always try to play stuff off like you knew. Puerto rico has taino indian heritage, black slave, spanish and other european blood. Mexicans are normally some combination of indian (feathers..not dots) and spaniard.

Hate to take the wind out of your sails, skippy, but Danny boy already mentioned that he was half Puerto Rican in a post a while back. As I recall, it was his upper half.

As for you thinking that I "play stuff off" :hmmm: or that I cannot tell the difference between a Puerto Rican and a Mexican........

?? i know this, I read the thread.

Anybody might not be able to tell with some people...that wasn't the point. I don't wana start a back and forth shit but it kinda proves your ignorance by saying something like that.

Nice to see the cop didn't sacrifice his vehicle for the safety of those helmeted bike riders he could have been hurt.....

that is exactly what i was thinking.

those are tax dollars at work that he is saving!

good thing he decided not to protect those citizens or anything!

By your definition I could be part Puerto Rican, who knows where my African American heritage came from before Mississippi. Especially since Taino spread from South America to Haiti, my ancestors were likely black slave on that side and I have "other" European blood. You should say the only difference between Mexican and PR is that running into one in the states will usually mean they are here legally where as the other isn't....

It's easy, PR's don't look Indian at all, Mexicans have fat heads short limbs and stubby torsos.

PR's are similar to Cubans, Domenicans

There is a bigger difference.

It's a lot like the Irish and the British are the same.
Don't tell an irish man that.

Don't Lump all the British in to the same Group. I am sure the Scots have something to say about that.

I don't wana start a back and forth shit good choice but it kinda proves your ignorance by saying something like that.

Most things I say are said in humor. Anything "ignorant" is usually said/posted intentionally. Sorry you couldn't follow that.

And, as I recall, you are overly sensitive with a tendency to get your thong in a knot over anything involving race. Yet you are quicker than most here to stereotype people, or make ignorant assumptions about them without first considering that this is the INTERNET....where people joke, make fun, and usually mean no harm.

Calm down, son.

Don't ever say that in front of a cuban or Rican lol. dominicans are a whole different ball game.

Yeah your right...you can call yourself whatever you want to if you identify with that and have some fairly recent ancestors from there.

my point was to explain the different blood lines a little bit...not legality.

You just said that this comment was intentionally ignorant. Yes I missed that...my fault.

it's really not all that easy just by looking at someone...but I hear you.

there is obviously variation in anything.

citing the outliers does not discredit the definition of what is typical.

Word. from personal experiences I don't think it's easy to tell the difference from a puerto rican and mexican, that was the previous point. everyone can disagree..it's really not important, I shouldn't have said anything to begin with. I probably notice things like this more than other people cause it happens to myself and family.

Who the hell can't tell a Mexican from all most all the rest of the Latinos?

That's what I say about some Asians.
From living in Hawaii I've learned how to tell the difference between Chinese, Japanese and Korean....chinese and korean are harder to tell apart but I've learned, but so often I don't even notice race anymore because their are so many different ones here.....

Everybody / depends on the mexican. people can't tell my mother is.

I can tell a Mexican from a Dominican.
An Ecuadorean from an Venezuelan.

I do have a hard time telling a Ecuadorean from a Salvadorean.

I can. Among other things, Koreans are taller, have square faces, and tend to be darker.
OK, so the Japanese tend to be smaller than most Asians I guess.

Philippinos are easy.
