whats up, im 6,2 285 and love lifting ive been hittin it for 12 or 13 yrs. i went through several sites until i found this one, it seems to suit me better just by what i was allowed to view so i signed up. look foreward to it

thanks man, im caught up in this site. one thing i noticed is alot of talk about newbs. thats ok i guess i just dont want to be looked down on because im new to the site. i think i could be a great help to people with the 13 years ive been lifting...ive seen and done alot unfortunately some of it might haunt me when im 60 but hell i had fun

Nah, no worries man. Newbs are definitely welcome, some just tend to get called out when they start kicking false knowledge. Just about everything I know about fitness I learned from this site one way or another. If ya take the time to do a little searching and reading first, people will be more than receptive. When I first got here I had been lifting for a few years and quickly realized a lot of the things I was doing were hurting more than helping. You're definitely in a good place here.

thankfully i work a 6 on 3 off work schedual i am not married and dont have any kids so after my work out i plan on sitting here and seeing if i missed anything. as for the misinformation if i dont know i wont answer. i think alot of that comes from the young guys 17 or 18 who only know what their friends big brother said. but then again i have met several teens that knew their stuff.

Exactly. Or the fat chick that ran 40 miles a day and lost 200lbs eating only cheerios and hummus.
