Watched two good movies.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
The Bucket List was a decent flick, with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman

I have a feeling that new Eddie Murphy movie is going to bomb.

Does he always need to have multiple Eddies in a movie all the time?

Watched Nick Cage in The Wicker Man last night. Good flick.

No I want to know why hes always doing these family movies.

Why not do another comic stand up just like long ago. Shit, Robin Williams did it.

Eddie Murphy To Retire From Movies? | dailystab.com

Eddie Murphy has hinted the much-anticipated Beverly Hills Cop 4 film will be his last, because he wants to get back to stage work.
Before he became a movie star he was an acclaimed stand-up comedian and now heâ??????s keen to return to comedy clubs and theatres. He says:
â???Thirty years and I have close to 50 movies and it is like, `Why am I in the movies? Iâ??????ve done that part now.â??????
â?????Iâ??????ll go back to the stage and do stand-up.â???
But heâ??????s still all about getting a fourth Beverly Hills Cop film made, after years of looking at bad scripts for the project, and he insists he isnâ??????t making the new film in the franchise for the money:
â?????The third one was horrible, so I didnâ??????t want to do another one.â???
â?????It wasnâ??????t ready to be done and they (producers) wrote some shit down on paper and I said, `Is this your phone number?â?????? and they said, `This is how much weâ??????re going to pay you.â??????
â?????I said, `Letâ??????s go shoot it! I donâ??????t care if the script ainâ??????t right.â??????â???

Watched Nick Cage in The Wicker Man last night. Good flick.

I've only seen Nicholas Cage in one good movie, it is called Adaptation. He's the fucking man in it.

It confounds me how an actor can play such an amazing role in one movie but 99% of his others are total hollywood sellout POS.

Saw some good movies recently.

"Doubt". Excellent movie. Great acting. Maryl Streep is awesome in it. Phillip Seymour Hoffman is one of my favorite acters and he was great as always.

"The Wrestler". Good movie. Love the 80's music in it. It was sad though. Very well directed. Some really great scenes.

"Benjamin Button". Long as hell. Interesting story. I would say worth watching but I liked the other movies above a lot better.

Taking Chance, with Kevon Bacon awesome movie

"Taken" with Liam Neeson is an awesome movie. It just came out today on home video. Don't bother renting; just buy it.

I also wanted to add, I liked the movie "The Promotion" a lot. It stars Stifler and "the other guy" from Step Brothers. It's a comedy with the tone of "Meet the Parents." Not for everyone, but I really enjoyed it.

Anyone watch that Notorious BIG movie? I was thinking about renting that tonight.

Terminator Salvation...the ending was a corny disappointment to me.
Too much Christian Bale in the movie.

The best part of the film where even the audience cheered.....seeing Arnold in it.

Saw Star Trek and Terminator Salvation this past weekend.

Terminator was a huge disappointment. Weak character development, and too many "wtf, yeah right's" in the story. Some of the CGI was bad too. This is one to wait for home release.

Star Trek, however, was actually really good. Action and CGI was great, and acting was pretty good too. Despite never having been a Star Trek fan, and my dislike of the actor who plays Spock, I really enjoyed this one. I highly recommend seeing it.

Saw "Analyze That", comedy with gangsters!!

- Analyze That is a 2002 comedy film, and a sequel to the 1999 film Analyze This. The film was directed and co-written by Harold Ramis (who also worked on the first film) and stars Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal who respectively reprise their roles as mobster Paul Vitti and psychiatrist Ben Sobel.

It's pretty good, but for Drama I would go with:

The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas
The Reader
Resurrecting the Champ

I agree with you on Terminator. The story line was a bit weak and some of the terminators looked stiff.

Yeah. I think we are going to rent "The Reader" instead. I head "The Boy in the Striped Pijamas" is really sad. So was Marley and Me and I still watched that.

I won't watch Marley and Me, I don't mind people dying, but I actually like animals.

You know what happens at the end. The rest of the movie is sort of funny. I really didn't enjoy it that much actually.

One of the BEST conversation from Analyze This.....

Boss Paul Vitti: Whoever did that thing to you-know-who, that good friend of mine, well they're trying to do that to me now. And I'm having a lot of feelings about that. And I'm trying to get some closure on that.
Primo: What kind of feelings?
Boss Paul Vitti: I'm very angry. I'm feeling very angry about that. I'm enraged. I'm feeling very, very mad about that.
Primo: So why are you telling me?
Boss Paul Vitti: Why am i telling you? Like you don't know nothing about it? You don't know nothing? What?
Primo: I don't know what your talking about.
Boss Paul Vitti: I'm just trying to, tell you about my feelings and that I'm angry, and that anger is a blocked wish. And I'm looking forward to seeing you next week at that thing. Then i can unblock that angered wish and then hopefully, hopefully you make one more move on me you motherfucker ill fucking cut your fucking balls off ill shove them up your fucking ass, ill fucking bury you, ill put ice picks in your eyes, ill chop your fucking eyeballs, ill send them to your fucking family so they can eat them for dessert. You understand me?
Primo: Hey Paul
Boss Paul Vitti: What?
Primo: Fuck you
Boss Paul Vitti: You Motherfucker!
Primo: [to Moony] You get a dictionary and find out what this "closure" is. If that's what hes going to hit us with, i want to know what it is

Salvation was a letdown...McG put too many nods to the earlier films in it...The G'N'R song (you could be mine), "come with me if you want to live", the classic punching of a terminator when their head spins halfway but they are still looking at you with their eyes (this happens 4 times!), killing a terminator with molten steel AND freezing them with nitro IN THE SAME SCENE!!!

Star Trek was a pleasant surprise, I agree!

"The Reader" was a great movie. On par with "Doubt".

Another really good movie was "The Story of Anvil". A documentary/movie about the the band Anvil. A struggling metal from the early eighties. Considered to be pioneers of metal. Up there with Metallica and Anthrax. Here is a link to the movie home page. It was on VH1 the other night.
Anvil! The Story of Anvil

Zombieland was actually pretty fucking good. Not an average zombie comedy.

To compare it to Shaun of the Dead is only to say they are both comedies. Besides that only fact, they are pretty different.

Shaun is more based on typical english slapstick humor. Whereas Zombieland, is slapstick and dry humor. Kind of hard to avoid slapstick when the movie is about killing things and feeling no remorse.

Anyway, the kid in the movie is a copycat of the kid in Superbad. Its fine and works, but weve seen it. What REALLY surprises me is Woody. You can tell by the trailers is that hes white trash, but when you watch the movie you love this white trash guy! Hes so lovable and you want him to succeed. His lines are the best and he truly is the one who makes the movie.

My only disapproval would come from the girls and their constant conflict. It is supposed to be funny, but while we are hoping that Woody and Superbad outsmart the girls we are missing zombie killing cinema.
