I always thought roids were unhealthy and Illeagal. Yet I stumble upon this foum sponsored by a magazine that has an "Anabolic Zone". So I signed up to find out what the deal is.

Are they Illeagal? :banned:Are they unhealthy? what is a cycle? Roid Rage, is it a myth?:wits: Dose it take your three wood and make it a nine iron?

Are they Illeagal?

For all intents and purposes, they are illegal. Doctors can prescribe androgenic/anabolic steroids (AAS) for various reasons, but that's generally not what is discussed here.
Are they unhealthy?

They can be if you are not qualified to take them or are mistaking them.

what is a cycle?

AAS are typically taken for several weeks at a time followed by a break period. Typically, something along the lines of 6-12 weeks on, followed by a rest.

Additionally, different substances can be 'stacked' together in order to provide for both short term and longer term results. Other substances are also added in order to restart natural testosterone production post-cycle.

All together, that makes up a cycle.

Roid Rage, is it a myth?

I'm going to go with the statement that steroids may or may not cause an increase in aggression due to the increase in testosterone.

Dose it take your three wood and make it a nine iron?

Nope, but it can turn your golf balls into marbles if you don't know what you are doing.

hey thanks for the info. got another question. Dont you have to keep going through cycles to maintain the muscle you gained or can you quit and maintain it by working hard enough? i bet it depends huh?

If one exits the cycle properly and with adequate post cycle therapy, one should be able to keep their testosterone relatively stable. Additionally, with the proper nutrition and training protocols, one should be able to hold onto a noticeable portion of their gains.

A responsible user would have their nutrition and training in order before they begin a cycle anyway.

I agree. I've felt the rage just from taking a long break from training then getting back into it completely natural. It's the boost in testosterone. If you're prepared for it it's controllable if not, well then that when it can be troublesome.
