im on 21 days though it was longer...........i need this gear

Talk aout needing your gear.. I timed this out perfectly to receive it before I move from this address. I figured 7 weeks was plenty with time to spare. If I don't get it by next Tuesday, I'm screwed. Well, hopefully because I put in a fowarding address, it will be sent to the new address without hassle but who the hell knows. Point is, I'm moving in a week and it still hasn't arrived. I'll just have to hope for the best. :nail:

If I were the source and you were out here bitching about shit instead of keeping your communications private with me, I'd never sell to your whining, bitching asses again.

I waited almost 6 weeks once before I even contacted my source. He provided tracking and I found out the problem was ENTIRELY with the USPS. The pack made it to the US within a week, and bumbled around through the US mail for another 5+ weeks.

I've ordered from overseas plenty of times in the last 10 years too. Like someone else said, 90% of the time or more shit gets here right on time.

Next time maybe you cheapskates should go domestic.

When someone says 2-3 weeks delivery, and only after taking your money do they DOUBLE that time frame, THAT's when people get pissed off.
I allowed two extra weeks for the "delays" and it's taking even longer than that. And if the supplier doesn't like me bitching about his inadequate services in an open forum then maybe he should get it straightened out.
While he's at it, maybe he can explain why I can receive a parcel from China and it arrive in a week but thier stuff takes 6?

Shit happens sometimes and a lot of it is out of Nap's control. When ordering products such as these from overseas, patience is necessary.

Agreed. Patience is nessesary. But in this particular case, it IS NAPs' fault. They were the ones who said they had to resend and to add an additional 2 weeks. I'm sure this is an isolated incident but that doesn't make it any less frustrating. You know?
Doesn't help that some shmuck is over here calling people whinny bitches and cheapskates. when we are clearly complaining about the service from the supplier and not the postal service.

Well.. today I finally got a tracking number from Naps so thats some good news.
The bad news? USPS doesn't have the tracking number on record.

you guys act like you're ordering from Amazon.com!!! LOL! There are steps to be taken to try to protect both your products and the source's ass. You do want them to stay in business by taking precautions, don't you? I've seen people bitch about not getting gear and someone's remailer got busted or fucked the source. Not the source's fault and they were trying to resolve things, and eventually did. There's a whole host of issues out of the sources control that could happen.

Naps has always come through. Sometimes things happen. Sometimes you don't get the full story because you don't need to know, and you don't care either. You don't know how many hands may be involved, and why the hell would you care? You just want your shit. I understand. I also understand it is best to be patient. After several weeks of being patient it is best to do this whole process in private with your source. If that doesn't get things resolved (and with naps it ALWAYS will), then you bring it out on the public forum.

I think problems should be looked into.If they didnt want problems to be adressed why would they be on a open board?And I know guys who ordered from naps 100 times and I told them and they said never took longer then 3 weeks at the latest to get gear.I am confident my gear will come just a little upset it's takeing this long.

Well, they are here in this case as advertisers/sponsors. It is for their benefit as well as yours.

As it seems you know, naps has many avenues to help resolve issues. Email support, a knowledge base of FAQs, you can file a support ticket, and they even have live support available. All these are for the benefit of their customers to help resolve issues. These methods should all be used first before making a thread. As long as you are being communicated with, that is a positive. Sometimes it takes time on their end to find out what is happening. As I have said there are many variables not known on the customer's end.

If they say it should be two more weeks and it's been three and they aren't contacting you back, I would try to see if you could get a rep on the board or see if a mod knows anything (not sure how involved they are here). Very rarely does this have to happen, but unfortunately people seem to think that is the first thing they should do when they don't get their shipment in a week.

Personally, I appreciate that other members share thier experiences with a supplier on an open forum. I'm sure NAPS wouldn't mind one bit if everyone was up here praising thier wonderful services. But the door swings both ways and if thier services are poor and just plain unacceptable, people should know so that they can make a better decision on which supplier to use. Perhaps if NAP's takes a hit on thier sales for a month, they will try harder to get it right the first time. I'm sure NAPS is reputable but the IM members should be aware of instances such as these, regardless of how "rare" these occurances are. I'm certain a few people here opted to go with one of the other sponsers based on this thread and I'm also certain they are appreciative for knowing ahead of time so that they aren't waiting 7 weeks for thier stuff to arrive and aren't given bogus tracking information when contacting the stellar customer support. :jerkit:

I disagree. Maybe in every other case you know more.. but in THIS case, you don't. See, I'm pissed off because three weeks after my order was marked as shipped, they told me they had to re-ship and it would be 2 more weeks. So do you understand now? This wasn't the post office's fault. This was obviously a problem on thier end. And even that would have been fine but now it's almost 4 weeks more than what they told me. A total of nearly 7 weeks. So now, because of NAPs, I'll be moving out of the address they shipped to and who knows when or if I'll ever get it AND on top of that, they won't re-ship if it's lost in the mail becasue as far as thier concerned, it was shipped. This loss will be at my expense.
But you're right BMW. I don't have a reason to be pissed, right?

Now shit might have happened to cause this reship or delay that they cannot divulge to us since we all know what is being ordered is not very friendly. with any source there will be a possibility of waiting longer for a multitude of reasons. Now yes you do have a right to talk about it where ever you want as long as its permitted but what you dont see is the threads saying how they fixed it and how they got hooked up, its always the bitching threads you see.

Often they don't know there's an issue until some customers contact them. Even then it could just be a delay at customs or in the mail system.

You think the handful of people crying in the open boards are the only ones that have had delays? No. the multitudes of other customers just know how to properly address their issues and have learned either through experience or from actually listening to others to be patient and keep their communications with the source until that goes to shit. Yup. Not an ideal situation. sucks bro.

Seems the issue was resolved though, it'll take a little time for everyone effected to be taken care of, but doesn't look like it will be much longer. Few others I know that experienced the delay have started receiving there special packages. :)
