This is something I noticed about midway through my cycle and I didn't think much of it but it kept occuring and hasn't subsided. I never used to have problems with hands and feet falling asleep before, but now it's almost an every day thing. I attributed it to the test, since this was my first go round with anything injectable, but then I realized I've put on quite a bit of weight and my body just might be getting used to it, or maybe it's a water retention thing. Who knows. I def wasn't expecting it, but there are a lot worse sides I could have gotten out of the blue I suppose.

I took my last shot Sunday, so I don't really need any advice on how to curtail it, and it wasn't all that annoying just very noticeable. Anybody else react to test like this? Or do I have some serious underlying medical issue?

My arms and hands fall asleep about everynight. I wake up in with my arm totally asleep and it will actually hurt. I don't know if it is from the test though. If I sleep with my arms over my head at night it helps a lot.

hmm. maybe this is the price I have to pay in order to exit the realm of not-bigs. I'll take it.

in pumping iron, you see franco in bed with pillows under his arms. this is what i do, i used to sleep with my arms above my head but it bothers my shoulder

it happens to me and im not on test

i agree....i sleep on my side with my arm under my pillow. sometimes it goes numb... on cycle though it happens way more often... if i had to take a random guess i would think its because out muscles are getting bigger faster with much more blood flow and any laying on them can cause numbness. just my 2 cents. any one else?

Are you supplementing with fish oil ? if you arent 4g is the way to go. I got this tip from some NPC competitor at my gym. The falling asleep & tingling has since gone away.

I wonder if water retention or elevated BP could cause this sensation.

That or my theory is the extra vascular muscle. I notice as I swole up on the sauce there's a way I sleep on the couch with one arm/hand behind the pillow that now always causes my hand and forearm to fall asleep on me. Never an issue when off.

Yeah it happens to me on or off too. I am off now and it still happens just as often. I do get shoulder pain sometimes from sleeping with arms above head. I will try the pillows, Thanks.

When I'm on mine fall asleep while driving and sleeping.

My hands and arms fall asleep all day and all night, I thought it was from the HGH, a friend of mine thinks its the test, says test in high amounts will do this, I'm wondering if it's the extra muscle growth! :coffee:

My experience if you are growing very quickly this is common. Deep tissue massage is one thing that will help.

Week and a half into my cycle and my feet fell asleep last night, first time this has ever happened. Usually its my arms, maybe a result of high test levels...

This type of thing, especially in the arms and hands, can be from to inflammation and the related pressure on nerve fibers. U'll get this sort of thing with "tennis elbow" or carpal tunnel.... Could be swelling from hypertrophy, stasis of blood flow from water retention and polycythemia from AAS or inflammation from working out..... I know pernicious anemia can have these kind of symptoms but considering ur on AAS ur probably inadvertently treating any anemia you could have anyway.

doubt its anything major either way, but if you swell, get redness and a lot of heat, especially in ur legs.... get to the fucking dr...... Otherwise just be careful getting out of bed haha

i was thinking maybe it could be that your cursulation is not as good from being on cycle and possible bloated, or maybe your natural hgh levels are up bc of the cycle

i have the same problem. i got it from certain tri workouts. i have the nerve damage in my elbows. saw a specialist. not much you can do apart from get a surgery which kind of anchors the nerve down they said. its to the point that it falls asleep even when my arm is bent for too long. but they also said the pillow trick helps a little.

Thanks it will help for sure!

go to chiro, its not anything you are using it is pressure on nerves, either because of muscle tension on the actual nerve bundle as it exits spine or a mis- aligned vert. getting the knots out and an adjustment will more than likely fix problem.

I get this as well. I though it was sides from hgh. It might be carpal tunnel ? IDK.. I get the same thing though

do you get it if you just rest your elbow on a table ?
ps if you had tiger blood this wouldn't happen

Damn I was pretty suprised when I saw this thread. I am running my first cycle (test only) and the past couple of weeks I have most definitely noticed this shit happening. I mean I am sure it happens to everyone from time to time, especially when falling asleep on your arm or something, but it has been more than that lately. It happens every night now, I also saw a thread on here recently about how a guy has recently started snoring and attributes that to the test as well. I too have been snoring lately because it has been waking me up when i do it. NEVER snored before this cycle. :hmmm:

I had the same issue of my hands falling asleep(fingers numb) during the later stages of my cycle then a week in my pct it still is occuring. I agree with the poster above that its more then likely has to do with water rention putting stress on the nerves in your elbow causing the hands to go numb. I'm sure it will be gone after the pct, I hope in my case it goes away to its annoying more then anything.

Yeah it also affected my grip today. While performing dumbbell rows and barbbell shrugs, when i would initially get my grip and begin the exercise my hand would have a numb/tingling feeling....weird

yeah same here bro. I attributed it to the test because that was the only variable, but the water retention or increases in muscle mass pressing on nerves makes sense. It's a small price to pay though, I think I can man up and get through it.:pissed:

Mine fall asleep basically every night whilst on cycle, and still a good bit whilst off, but I also sleep with my arms above my head. I think it happens to just about anybody who's got relativly large shoulders, or I could just be way too tired right now to think. Reason I say that is my arms started doin that when I got above 18" at the bicep, currently sitting at 21" and the bigger I get the shit seems to get worse lol. Its nothing more than an annoyance to me, never really gave it any thought.

lmao im just over a week into my first cycle and tonight at work i took a nap and woke up and my foot and my hand were asleep i dident think anything of it then i was reading up on here and saw this :P lol, for everyone who is thinking tennis elbow and blah blah i highly doubt its anything like that, im 23 and it just started happening to me tonight so its deff a effect from the test

Yep, just woke up...Happened again last night. My entire right arm was completely dead and I sat straight up in the bed and was swingin my arm around..felt like a big limp noodle floppin around...and yes my pecker is the same way

Well, I've always just called it 'dead-hand'. It's something I've just gotten used to over time. Not a big thing to worry about, unless of course when you start to move it around it doesn't go away..
