Cycle took a stumble

Not aching today, but it hurts to move it in certain directions, especially stretching it out, and there is one little spot where if I push on it, ouch!

But it does not hurt just sitting here doing nothing.

Today is leg day, so it should not get in the way at all - although I am not too sure about the stretching when holding the bar to do squats.

It was fine. Everything got stronger today on legs. I STILL weigh 200 pounds, though! I cannot believe I am so impatient, even though everybody can tell I look different than I did a month and a half ago.

The pain in the chest feels like an intense muscle soreness when you push on it (like pushing on a sore muscle when you have done your first workout in a long time), but only in one small, localized spot about halfway up, over by the shoulder. Hopefully, it is just a minor strain that goes away in a few days. It is only like a 2 or 3 on the pain scale of 1 to 10. I know it is not normal, but it does not seem that bad. A real injury would have to hurt worse than this. I tore a calf muscle once while running, and this does not feel like that at all.
 
From the sound of it, I would say you are probably correct in that it is a minor strain. I have had them several times and worked through them. I am really glad that you are feeling "good" though and not in crazy pain and shit. Keep us updated bro.

Oddly, the chest pain went away entirely, but the shoulder nearby, ouch! Sometimes, I cannot feel any pain at all, but move it the wrong way and it hurts!!! I have avoided bench presses or front deltoid work and am working around it for now, waiting for it to go away.
 
Fuckin injuries!! Good thing you are being smart about it and avoiding exercises that are causing you discomfort. Some people just cannot back off until they completely wear out a minor injury turning it into a lifelong mess....I hope you heal up soon man. Have you been to a doctor?

Overlooking the stumble in week three (damn it), does this look like a relatively normal weight gain for a cycle so far? Not enough?

I am left wondering if I would have gained a lot more if my cycle had been continuous and not had the stumble.
 
Bodyweight was only 198 today, but I benched 305 for 5 reps! Man. I feel good! No shoulder pain or elbow pain. I am grinning from ear to ear like an idiot. Not a bad number for a middle aged man.

did you have shoulder and elbow pain prior to cycle?
 
Not for years (back when my natural hormones were high and I was pushing weights like this naturally).

On cycle, a couple/three weeks back, my left shoulder had started hurting quite a bit during dumbell military press and bench. When I cut out the military press, then went to bench at the next scheduled workout, it did not hurt, as I reported above.

Then, the next chest workout, ouch! Something went wrong.

Still hurts! Seems to be improving, but by improving I mean that I can reach across to buckle my seatbelt or reach into the cabinet for a glass without too much pain. Every once in a while, I will move it wrong and ouch! sharp pain. I cannot lie down on my left side. I am not doing any pressing exercises (bench, military, etc.). Bench is my favorite exercise, so it is killing me not to do it.
 
Ok now, I know that you are aware of how weight flucuates!! You are drinking a lot of water I assume so that plays a big role, too. You may weigh 200 in the morning and 203 by lunch...nothing to fret about my brotha.

Last pin was last night. Psychologically, it is difficult to stop, especially since I really was on Test C only starting in week 4, but I was shut down from week one (testicular shrinkage is hard evidence), so I think 10 weeks for a first cycle is a good stopping point - especially for a guy in his 40s who had no real symptoms of low testosterone prior to the cycle, other than seeming to reach a glass ceiling on gains in the gym.

It is a little easier to stop with my shoulder injury hindering me from doing any pressing movements. I really miss those chest/arm workout days, when it looked like my whole upper body was swollen, chest, shoulders, arms . . . now it is just swollen arms . . .

I will start PCT in a couple of weeks.

I will probably see a doctor about the shoulder, even though I hate to.

It is funny how even with a shoulder injury I cannot wait to do another cycle. LOL! Already planning in my head for the fall - assuming the shoulder is ready by then.

No laughing at me for those of you guys who have upper arms larger than my thigh measurement. Gaining two inches was quite an accomplishment for me. It really made a difference in how I look.
 
204, 202, 203, 201 . . . weight fluctuating . . .

Weighed 203 4 days ago, but only 201 today. I am still getting stronger, but my cycle officially ended last week. I am in week 11, which is between my cycle and PCT. Still waking up with hard ons, getting stronger, and feeling aggressive in the gym.

I hate to stop, but I want to do this correctly.

The shoulder is showing a little improvement, but I am still not doing pressing exercises. I have used this as an excuse to really push leg workouts.
 
Within one week of last pin, horny as hell, balls were already getting harder and larger, although not yet returned to full size, they are continuing to change back toward normal.

Obviously there is still exogenous test in my system, so I thought this was weird. I am not even to PCT yet.

I have not lost any strength yet.

Is this normal at the tail end of a cycle, or am I just weird?

Weight loss could be attributable to:
(a) being off test
(b) running last three days in a row
(c) not being able to do bench, incline press, military, or bar dips
(d) all of the above

I noticed a very, very slight loss of strength today on some exercises. I am a little more cut than I was at the end of my cycle, but I was not doing any cardio on cycle, either.

Weight is only 193 today . . . :pissed: Strength decreases, though moderate, are also noticeable.

I am eating the same diet as when I was on cycle, and paying a lot more attention to it now, but the weight keeps going away.

I am training hard, in fact, training almost the same way as I was on cycle, except due to the shoulder I have not been doing bench press, incline press, bar dips, butterflies, and military press.

I know not all the weight loss is muscle - my lifting belt went on a lot easier about two weeks after the last pin, but quite a bit is muscle. My arms gained an inch during the cycle. They are only up about half an inch now. I did not take any other measurements because I was too busy throwing the tape measure and cussing.

I can see why some people never go off cycle.

In PCT, and liquid Clomi tastes terrible, leaving an all day aftertaste.
