Hello all. 1st post. new guy to supplements. I need help and I'm willing to work hard to achieve my goals. I'm 26, 6'0" and weigh 195 with a slight beer belly. (dont drink anymore) I need to get as in shape and build as much muscle as possible in a little over 2 months. I'm getting married and it's a beach wedding. I started eating good and have lost some weight. I'm starting my weight lifting routing on Monday. I want supplements to help me reach my goals. I'll fairly illiterate about supplements. I will continue my work out routine after the wedding as I do enjoy being in shape. Im willing to try anything that is proven to work.protein, creatine,NO,hgh, etc Thank you.

If you're new to lifting or haven't lifted in years and you're going to start lifting diligently over the next 2 months then you really don't need to spend your money on fancy supplements. The only two I would recommend that are proven to work are creatine (monohydrate is my preference) and weigh protein (only if you're not getting enough protein through food sources). A general rule to follow is you should be consuming around 1gram of protein per each pound of lean body mass daily. So if you're 195lbs and your lean body mass is around 170lbs then shoot for 170g of protein a day or a bit more. If you can't eat that much then supplement. Other than that just hit the weights hard and create a smart workout and you should get the results you're looking for, save your money otherwise

I would say start slow adding only one sup at a time and using for awhile before adding anything else so you can see if your even getting anything from it. But what cap said creatine mono and some whey protein is a foundation to build on.

start off with the staple supps that you should always be on. These include:

Protein, Creatine, BCAAs, Fish Oil, Multi Vitamin

Now I will give you the brands i prefer

Protein: ON 100% Whey, MyoFusion by Gaspari Nutrition, Syntha 6 by BSN
Creatine: Creapure by Primordial Performance, Creatine Nitrate by APS Nutrition
BCAAs: Modern BCAAs by USP Labs, Monster Amino, iBCAA by Primordial Performance

Once you have been lifting for a year (with proper nutrition and supplementation), then you can consider GH boosters, Test Boosters...etc

+2 just stick with the basics until you have a decent foundation.. no need to rush..

Yeah basically what they all said. Whey protein and creatine will give you great gains since you are a beginner. No need to spend that extra money of the other stuff unless you plateau within 2 months, which isn't likely.

Thanks for the responses anywhere I should buy the sup from? What is "BCAA's"

Even then, a plateau would be a sign to change up your workout rather than spend money on supplements.

shop around and buy small month or two quantities of things first.
