1) Amino Acid Derivatives.Thyrosine T3, Thyroxine T4, Catecholoamines(Epinephrine), Tryptophan( Melatonin)

2)Peptide Hormones are chains of amino acids. Most peptide hormones are synthesized as prohormones-inactive molecules that are converted to active hormones before or after they are secreted. Glycoprotieins have more than 200 amino acids and have acrbohydrate chains. They include ADH, TSH, LH abd FSH from the pituitary gland. Short Polypeptides/Small proteins. These hormones are diverse. ADH, OXT, GH secreted by the hypothalamus, heart, thymus, and released by the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland.

3)Lipid Derivatives. Eicosanoids, a 20-carbon fatty acid and steroid hormones derived from cholesterol.
