It's testing the serum levels.. it's absolutely an accurate way to test the efficacy of IGF. In all honesty, we may need to tweak the testing protocol a little, but we will have to take a look at that when we get our first set of tests to compare. I know there is going to be at least one more test being conducted shortly, using the exact same protocol, but a different source.
I'm interested in seeing other tests as well. I think a standard protocol would definitely be beneficial for testing.
I came across some reading I can't find it again but It was saying how the IGF binds to the receptor immediately and the excess is destroyed by the immune system.
I took that as meaning the 20-30hr half life is that of the IGF bound to the receptor, not free floating IGF in the system.
