I have elevated BUN, and yeah I been pissing foamy piss for a few weeks meaning alot of protein in my urine. But I've also been on a keto diet probably taking in 400-500g protein miniumum with restricted cals. Been off cycle 5 months going on 6, need peoples opinions on these reports. I'd like to hear opinions.

It sounds like a kidney issue to me, but I'm sure you're probably already aware of that...

Yeah but are results like this due to my diet being stupidly high in protein or is there any actual danger? Either way ketosis can suck it I'm switching back to carb cycling, just looking for advice.

There shouldn't be WBC or RBC in urine. Super high protein will strain the kidneys especially if you don't drink enough water.

I've read that high protein diets are bad for kidneys, but I think it boils down to the individual. AAS can definitely lead to kidney problems, especially orals. It's definitely something to take serious. What's your weight? I don't think it's necessary to consume more that 2 grams per lb of body weight. I'm about 215lbs and consume roughly 300-350g MAX of protein (around 1.5g per lb).

Starting myself on 150mg Test enanthate weekly, and 12.5mg armasin every 3 days. Going to up water to 2.5 gallons a day, lately I haven't been drinking enough.

400 grams of protein is stupidly high. You're not using it for building muscle, your body is using it for energy. When the liver deaminates amino acids, it makes urea, which the kidneys have to filter. High blood urea fucks up everything in your system, not just the kidneys. If you thought high cortisol was bad, imagine that instead of blood, your veins are full of yellow piss... that about sums it up. Yes, there is danger.

Lower the protein. Add some carbs. You'll get the same 4 cals per gram, and a lot easier to digest and use.

My BUN was high as well. You're not too far out of the reference range. High protein diets will usually cause elevated BUN. My doc told me not to sweat it.

too much protein.,..try carb cycling with a little less protein...300-350g/day maybe...gfr is good, creatinine is good... fsh and lh could be higher, try a second pct... thyroid would be good to look at too
