Do different compounds have different "keepable" gains?

While looking at a couple steroid effectiveness charts i saw that there was a section for how much each compound lets you keep gains after the cycle. For example they say that Deca is great at keeping gains while Test E is not.

I know a lot of you cruise but for those of us who do a cycle or 2 each year this could give us some more info.
 
i honestly dont believe it.. but that's just me


people might view water as "gains".. so dbol and test would lose a lot of "gains" after cessation

like SD said... you aren't going to keep water when you come off.... so those aren't true gains....
and you can look at all the charts in the world, they have no meaning whatsoever without a good pct regimen, continuing to work out with as close to same intensity as you did while you were 'on'..and eating like you should....

if you think the 30lbs you gained off 6 weeks of dbol were even half muscle... you are sorely mistaken...

you will keep most of your actual real gains off any compound with correct, and thorough pct along with eating and working out like you are still on cycle....You gotta do the work to keep your gains....
 
Thanks! That is an interesting chart.

No prob, i figured you could keep the same amout of mass from any compund if you have a good pct and eat/train the same. i know water weight wont be kept and wonder if this chart is talking about lean mass or weight in general.
 
from looks of what is listed for each, they are counting total scale weight.... not lean mass gains....

I dont know anything about you but you seem to have been around the block a time or 2 lmao. so from someone whos done their fair share of cycles would you say you kept the same percentage of muscle mass from different compounds?

I guess, but it's not very substantive. In fact, I call total bullshit. Someone who is nowhere near their genetic capacity for muscular development can (shouldn't, but CAN) load up on test and dbol, and with proper cycling practices and post cycle nutrition/training, they'll be able to retain much more new LBM gains than this chart asserts. Just a matter of fact.

lean mass, yes....water.. you lose... I generally do cycles a specific way now, so that by the time I'm nearing the end of the cycle I'm holding very little water... so, when I come off I lose very little(a couple pounds)...
Don't get me wrong, I've had a couple injuries that have set me WAY back... but, it comes right back very quickly when you start working out again....

That chart is utter bs. DNP loses fat yes, but makes you hold water like nothing else. Anavar is double in there, as brand and compound.
Halo less strength than EQ?? Masteron has *** on strength?? Winstrol has low strength (*)??? Haha don't make me laugh.

this... and, you can't just label steroid as an order of 'effectiveness'... effective at what??? there's 1000's of compounds that can be used/combined in millions of ways to help accomplish millions of different goals... to say one is 'effective or ineffective' is just blind idiocy
 
Pretty much water retention and glycogen is only thing that will change. Otherwise the only difference is how hard your shut down.
 
No drug would be mass-produced if it weren't effective at something.

Seriously..... So your one of those guys buying "extenze" huh.... Brother they will bottle and sell anything as long as there is a market for it where it works or not.
