I got two dudes, pretty young, that come in my gym. and throw 3 plates on and do 1/4 sqauts. they grunt. they stalk the sqaut rack, starring it down. they walk up the rack like they are going to wrestle the wieght. and its so anti climatic wheh they drop 6 inches. they look like the old asain ladies that use the calf machine as there leg press.
they other day they used chalk when they were squating. clearly new to the chalk thing as they left and there was a 6 foot circle of dust. they move over to the preacher bench pull off 25 pound wieght from one side that the bar and other side go flipping off almost hitting a older lady doing to 8 pound dumbell curves style giant set. then they are pounding raisens(?) while they are working out and there are raisens everywhere. oh the impressive 3 plates sqauts are still sitting unracked

So I said to they guys "why are you using chalk on squats. and why the fuck is there dust everywhere, and btw pick up your weights, wipe down the equipment, let the ladies though- learn some fucking gym etiquete, or come when Im not here". they both coiled up and disappeared. I have not seen them at the gym in two weeks, I can in last night they saw me walk in and they packed up and started leaving. I grabbed them and said "im not trying to be a dick. Im trying to point out your the dick. and you dont even know it. dont leave just stop messing around."

there egos were too hurt... fuck em. I was pissed off but I wasnt trying to run them out of the gym.

On the current topic I love leg day! My dad started me out with weights when I was young but I fell off a while back after my little girl was born packed on some fat lol but I just deployed 5 months ago and have lost 40lbs of fat. I still have skinny legs (Genetics) but at least they are toned and growing little by little.

been back in the gym 9 weeks... hit 455 x 5 last night... rock bottom, even pausing at the bottom on all 5 reps, just taking it slow and easy (tore both quads a few years back so being smart + careful)... this is a pic of one bleeding out, couple weeks after I tore them... my whole ass turned black (and doc said I was lucky the blood didn't find its way to my ball sack or they would have had to drain it, probably more than once)...

but seriously, nobody in my gym is working legs - and I have never seen anyone squat over 225... those that do squat are trying to combine a squat with a calf raise at the end (they must have seen that tip in Cosmopolitan)... I had to wait for the cage one time, cuz some guy was doing barbell curls (with no weights)... I am considering going back to my old gym (powerlifting) but it is a 45 minute drive each way....

I never was big on legs until I started jogging. Ive also noticed a great
difference when I walk. I love that tightness and power I feel when I run.

Also, your legs are (quads and hamstrings) are very large muscles. If you train them hard they become
pure calorie whores. Trust me, legs are my new best friend. The gains are just way different then
upper body muscles IMO
 
There is no better feeling then when you have big ass legs and when you wear dress pants and they fill out the entire pants and you catch girls peeping out your legs and junk. Only think going through their mind is fuck let me get my hands on that.

He'll my jeans are starting to get tight around my quads, but the waist is getting looser
 
yup love big legs. My problem is i over pronate so my quad development is not neutral. My outer quads are fucking monstrous but my inner quad is tiny in comparison. Trying to get this built back up by doing single leg leg press
 
I love how my waist is confusing to get smaller and my pants around my quads are getting tighter
