1991 bio claims Obama born in Kenya, raised in Indonesia

It?s depressing watching Team Obama flailing around for a good distraction from his appalling record in office, while Mitt Romney climbs steadily in the polls. The intrepid researchers at Breitbart.com are here to help! They dug up this little artifact:
That's from a promotional booklet published in 1991 by Acton & Dystel, which was Obama's literary agency at the time. Also listed in the booklet, but not identified as hailing from Kenya, were former Speaker of the House Tip O?Neill, Ralph Nader, and the New Kids On the Block.
It?s 2012 now, and a lot has happened. The New Kids on the Block broke up, Donald Trump finally persuaded Barack Obama to cough up his birth certificate, and the American workforce has grown much smaller. We may still gaze two decades into the past and wonder how on Earth the future President?s literary agent got the idea he was born in Kenya.
The Breitbart editors offer a very detailed look at the provenance of the bio, and stress that their discovery is evidence not of the President?s foreign origin, but that Barack Obama's public persona has perhaps been presented differently at different times.
They didn't really have to qualify that statement with "perhaps," since they have hard evidence to settle the matter. The only real question is whether the author of the bio somehow got the idea Obama was born in Kenya on his own, relied upon secondhand information? or got it from Obama himself, at a time when he found it useful to present himself as a "man of the world" instead of a native-born American.
This isn"t really a surprising development, since we"ve recently discovered the Obama narrative is filled with "composite" characters, including"The New York Girlfriend,""Julia," and "Barack Obama." Also, we know how much Obama loves to edit biographies!
At any rate, combined with Joe Biden's increasingly erratic behavior his staffers are actually pulling reporters away from him, lest he say something else colossally damaging to the Administration it's clearly time for the President to refurbish his ticket. Luckily, another person noted for her creativity with biographical information is very much in the news these days.
Barack Obama / Elizabeth Warren 2012! It's a real "dream ticket," in so many different ways.
Update: This story just keeps getting weirder- an update from Breitbart.com shows that Obama let that "born in Kenya" biography go unchallenged for SIXTEEN YEARS. The agency finally changed it in 2007, two months after he declared his presidential campaingn, to read "he was born in Hawaii to an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister." His father, incidentally, was not a "Kenyan finance minister," but rather an economist working for the ministry.
