List a few things that you used to take for granted but you finally realize how nice they are.

fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies, uncut cocaine, a girl under the age of 21s freshly shaved snatch, goin to the hardware store and not seeing 29 Mexicans standing out front.

Being able to buy ammo at a reasonable price. Being able to fucking FIND ammo. Reasonably priced gas. Good vision.
 
a perfect cup of strong coffee with just the right amount of whole milk. a peach that is perfectly ripe.... not the kind you guys mentioned :P. good whiskey. solitude.

Going to the grocery store and not seeing 29 Mexicans standing in the check out lines with 4 kids each, each Mexican with a grocery cart full of junk food and cases of beer, holding EBT food stamp cards in one hand to pay for the junk and 100.00 dollar bills in the other hand to buy beer
 
i think people take their skin for granted. it's cool to feel things like a sudden cool breeze on a hot muggy day or how unexpectedly soft and velvety a snake is. for a heavy woman one of the simple pleasures is taking your damned bra off at night. a perfect manicure pedicure. getting a whif of another woman's perfume and knowing the scent. the smell of vanilla beans. jamaican punch perfume... it has a spicy brown sugar smell, it's perfect for summer, and no one knows what it is. lolita lempicka.
 
i friggin always luck out at red lights, when i want to cross the street, find money every damned time i go for a walk... just a penny most often but it's weird. being the kind of person that sees what i have and can be grateful we have clothes to wash instead of resenting having to do laundry etc.

dear god... i occasionally make that cake and use an old school recipe. so good and SO bad.

many years ago way before i had kids i left my second husband.... he decided to move back in and i went to rehab to get away from him. i really do not understand addiction. if you don't want to drink etc just don't do it. i don't get why it's hard but on my extensive prior drug use i was accepted right away. after rehab i went to a halfway house... we shared chores and it rotated by the week. it took the counselors about 3 weeks to realize the other girls worked it to keep me on cook detail lol. pineapple upside down cake was one of the big hits. a single family size recipe starts with melting a whole stick of butter in a cast iron pan...
