I always knew the danger of high E2 levels, not so much about low E2, and apparently didn't pay attention to them as it crashed over a period of many months.
In Feb E2 was 30. On my normal protocol (Test Cyp. 200/week, HCG 500/2xper week, Adex .5 mg 2xper week) it dropped about 3 points each month.

Feb 2014 E2-29.6

April 2014 E2-26.8

Sept 2014 E2-11.1

Oct 2014 E2-6.7

At this point, I stopped taking adex. Next month...
11-19-2014 T>1500 E2-61.8

Took 1/4 pill of adex and immediately felt the effects of low E2, so I have come to realize that it takes a while for my body to come back to normal and not experience the effects of low E2 even though the number has gone up. I will be trying aromasin eventually to keep it in check.

It has been three weeks, Test Cyp. 200/week, HCG 500/2x per week, and no AI. Recent labs..
T-1254 E2-50.5 Here is my question. When do I start an AI again? Even though I feel better, and it is nowhere as bad as it was, I am not back to normal. I am still warm. I walk around the house with ice around my neck and keep the house chilly. I walked into a restaurant the other day and immediately started to have hot flashes and started to experience pins and needles and itchiness. It happens whenever I go somewhere that is warm or when my body temp rises (for example when doing chores or trying to exercise, something I still can't do because I get pins and needles and super itchy, heck even standing in the sun the other day started to give me flashes) If E2 stays in the 50-60 range for weeks or a couple of months, is that a problem?

i don't know if this will help but eating too much carbs when on and i get the same symptoms. Also to much coffee does it. When I'm on it's best to keep carbs lower and stims like caffeine to a minimum. I try to keep my estrogen under 2x normal top of the range. I don't get bloating as long as I keep carbs down. Gyno is not a problem. The bigger problem is prostate symptoms and I take saw palmetto for that every day. Messing with estrogen levels gets me into trouble with joint pain so I try to keep it under control without an AI.

NorCal,

Always make sure your using the sensitive E2 test from the labs. Typically, the normal E2 test can run 10 pts higher than the sensitive which is more accurate. With that said, you are in a position of chasing E2 which is a pain bro. The key is to not react too fast either way(No AI versus up the dose) so that you don't make things worse. It can take a little while for your E2 to stabilize. Your body is fighting for homeostasis right now so my two cents would be to keep your Test dose at the same rate and give it 2-3 more weeks. Make sure your getting plenty of fluids and keep your BP in line. I bet within 1-2 weeks you will be back to normal.

Have you found a cheap way to do this? All I've seen is a $71 add-on option for both LabsMD and PrivateMDLabs, for just that E2 LC/MS/MS assay. Pretty pricy if you're doing that every time in addition to the $53 or $73 female hormone panels.

You can get it in the $172 male hormone panels at LabsMD but it's of course also pricy and it's not often you need the whole steroid/thyroid/lipids/IGF work-up.

I just use Lancorp and don't sweat the price. Without good data, your not going to make educated decisions. With E2 and bloodwork, I don't play around. I live and die by my paper from Labcorp.

50-60 is really not a problem. I mean it would be if your test level was 300 but Im sure your up over 2k on the test. I know a couple of guys that actually feel better around 70 . I have been up over 400 and it was causing issues . Anyway I would not be aggressive in attacking that if I were you or you'll end up crashing it again. A slow slight increase in AI is all you need.
