For someone on a cutting cycle, is it better train each muscle group once or twice a week? Just in general terms and nothing in specific to dieting, weight, etc.

... IMHO .. if you circuit train, you can touch up every 'muscle group' 3 or 4 X's a week, it all depends on your current weight & goals, big muscular guys, who don't want to lose any size and just lean out, diet, mild cardio works.. every body is different... there are many 'roids' & OTC products used by some , not all, if you post up some pics , we could take a look at you, & maybe dial in your procedure to cut.. don't lift to failure when cutting..
 
only if you train them for 6 hours, at least thats what I heard
 
Twice per week is the best, according to my experience, to increase strength ! ! !
