Gatorade has its place. It can be good after a very hot outing or after strenuous exercise.

However, just plain water works for that too, if you are eating a healthy diet and getting your vitamins and minerals from your diet.

Gatorade has a crapload of sugar in it. The first ingredient is water, the second is sucrose, the third is dextrose. Sucrose and dextrose and two kind of sugar. Ingredients are listed in order by quantity; water making up the biggest part of the product, sucrose second and dextrose third.

Your body needs glucose to regulate blood sugar. You get glucose from carbohydrates. Adding small amounts of higher fiber carbs to your diet will regulate your blood sugar, for most people.

Sugar isn?t good for you - it makes you gain weight. Added sugar can significantly increase your risk of early death. Sugar impacts brain function, can cause non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and increases your risk of heart disease. Having one after exercise isn?t going to affect you too much, but why would you exercise to be healthy, then consume a bunch of sugar that isn?t healthy. Too much Gatorade isn?t good for you. Drink more water.

I defitnely get a boost if I sip Gatorade between sets, but I stopped Gatorade a while ago, too much sugar. I get an electrolyte supplement, it comes in liquid and capsules

Depends on how much you drink but I don't think you should have much of it especially everyday
