    Training alone. . . drop sets?

    I think you should stay away from drop sets right now .. I agree with gr81, only go to failure occassionally at best .. right now, focus on form and make sure you're doing the lifts properly .. once you get that down, then move up the weights ..

    Current routine: Mon- Arms Tues - Legs Thur - Chest / Delts Fri - Back Cardio (augh!) and Abs added in whenever time allows. Usually Monday and Friday.

    Hammer/Cybex delt press

    I'm not a huge fan of machines myself but I do switch off to the hammer machines on occassion .. IMO they are some of the better machines and you can get a good workout from them ..with that said, I would still stick to free weights and use these just as an alternative exercise once in awhile.
