    Steroids?

Lol...I'd love to hear that type of whining to judges. All of those guys are just embarrassed so that's why they are whining. Especially the guy who got second place in a non-tested show to a natural guy.

    Behind the neck milatary press

Two rotator cuff injuries = no freaking way. Dumbbells and military presses work just fine.

Who here has run a marathon?

I've done three. I can tell you a couple of things: Pacing properly is everything. There will be a pace rabbit for 4:30 and you can stick to them like glue - ir really helps. The last 3 miles suck more than anything you have ever done. I have never felt pain like after I finished my...

    For gaining strength

I'd say volume is a little more accurate than tonnage only because tonnage is only used in reference to volume of cargo on a ship. Volume is a measure of how much space something takes up. Cowpimp probably just meant greater amount of net resistance. Now, here's a question: If the same...

    For gaining strength

Do you see why this doesn't make sense? If you think that volume is questionable for gaining strength, then I'd suggest posting something beyond generic examples and one isolated individual.

    For gaining strength

All three. One increases the load during a single movement (weight). One increases the overall volume on the muscles working (sets). One increases the time under tension or the net force for a single period (reps). Depends really on how you define strength.

    potential?

If you train smart and consistently there is never any reason that you can't continue to improve your lifts (beyond a major biomechanic flaw). However, as you progress your gains will come slower due to the inability for your body to be subjected to such stress. There are a ton of people here...

    Negative reps!

A lot of using negative reps is teaching your nervous system what a heavier load feels like. Since you can generally lower more than you can lift (due to many things, but includes things like gravity) it can be a good way to introduce a heavier load to your joints. However, definitely not...

    Bicep/tricep balance

From the same source that you listed about biceps: T NATION | Biceps . . . Fast or Slow? I think where we are disconnecting is that you are stating that these muscles are ONLY fast/slow twitch, when all muscles are a mixture of the two (actually three) main types. Within a motor unit there...

Where did you get this information? I'd love to read your source because it opposes what I've read.

What kind of cardio are you doing? It could simply be the modality.

How to get toned but not bigg?

I always find it funny how people seem to think they are going to get freakishly big in a short period of time. I'm guessing you are fairly young and just getting into this.

do you have to have a fast motabilism to be a hardgainer?

    1. You have gained strength but not muscle? Yes, you have. You really can't get one without the other. You have gained almost 30 pounds but no size? That doesn't make any sense unless your diet is terrible. 2. It sounds like your diet could probably be better and is the first thing you...

    Core exercises

Generally with the trunk you want to incorporate the main movements that the trunk does with a bit of load. Flexion, extension and rotation plus a bracing move like a plank, but your deadlifts and squats will also work this. Most people neglect extension movements for their erectors so with...
