I agree...if you do HIIT and eat a clean diet you will be fine. Don't forget to add essential fats to your diet. A lot of people will want to be on a solid cut but do so with no fat in their diet, and they just get drained/weak.
That's a good point. I would incorporate a serious stretching program into your daily workouts. I usually have my athletes do a dynamic stretching warm-up prior to a workout followed by post static stretching.
I haven't personally used them in a while, but when I train my athletes I have them do a lot of hip flexor work, as well as push-ups with bands. You can essentially target any muscle you want with bands.
