    dude, I never get sore from pull ups, I am not sure why. Like yesterday i hung a 45 between my legs and did 4 sets of 6-8 and i am still not sore.

    i have read in a few places that flexing between your sets can help to build muscle. I guess by getting blood to the muscles?? I really dont know why or what this would do, i was just wondering if anyone else has heard of this or does it.

    I too believe that there must be some sort of limit on how much each of us can gain naturally, but it is a really depressing thought!! I like TCD's response saying that it is debatable if we will ever reach that point in our lifting lives.

    it is a really tough question becasue Body building is so much different than say something like Baseball. Mainly because it IS a way of life. But I do think you have to maybe compete in order to gain the title. But damnit, that dosent seem right to me either...Hell I dont know!!!

    it could be a lot of things, but I had a similar problem. Try moving your grip in just a little bit and see if that takes some of the stress off of the joint. I have others ideas what it might be but try this first
