Today was mixed martial arts training. We went for 2 hours mostly doing live wrestling the entire time. One of the guys is fighting on Saturday so he stayed on the mat and everyone else rotated in. It was a great workout. Im sore, tired...
Thanks LAM. Im really not interested in size at all, just strength. Ill have to look into trying the split you describe and maybe try it. I was just worried about not having a break between MMA training sessions.

Hi Prince. Actually, no, my goal is not bodybuilding. Im a police officer so my goal is strength gain, conditioning and nothing else. I can care less how big my chest is...just as long as its strong. Thats why i care :)
Hi Monstar. I saw that you do upright rows with a shoulder wide grip, does that hit different muscles then the close grip version?

Well, today was suppose to be my back and biceps day but my schedual got messed up because i had to move chest to tuesday. Since thursday is usually my cardio day i skipped my back/bi day in order to get back on track. Make sense? :)

Hi jen and Monstar :) Im hoping this board is better then DF. I enjoy DF but i just dont seem to get much feedback since you guys left. No one else there seemed to care about my progress. Im hoping to get more feedback here. Since im realitively new to this i know i sure can use it.....
Sorry, kind of new to this stuff. I didnt think flys were a good exercise for building strength, thought it was mainly used to build up the inside of the chest. Ill have to give them a try. Much appreciated :)
Hi Prince, thanks for the reply. I really dont do flyes, thought they were just a shaping movement and i was going for strength. Do you recomend i give them a try?
