    callouses ripped off, now what?

    Use gloves, that is what they are for. If callouses affect your workout in any way, then why not use gloves, tape, etc. to prevent them?

    Mucho thanks for the input. My logic was that it is hard to max out on squats since I usually workout by myself.     Could someone tell me a good routine for pec mass. Since you can't target the upper or lower pec then it seems to me that flat bench or flat dumbell press would be the best exercises. Incline would seem to incorporate the shoulders more and declines would incorporate the tris more than flat. If...

    Tonight is shoulders\traps. I usually do a shoulder set then a trap set, rest 1 to 2 minutes then another shoulder set and trap set. Do most of you do this or do you finish with all shoulders exercises and then do traps?

    When to work out traps

    I do traps on shoulder day which is once every six days. I do behind the back shrugs, dumbell shrugs and upright rows which hit the traps some also. I, too, wish my traps were larger and have been wondering if you can overtrain them also.

    Not trying to argue with anyone, I am just very interested in this post. If you can't target different areas of say the pec, then why do different exercises? Why not just chose the one exercise that targets that muscle group the most, i.e. with the least amount of help from other muscle groups...
