1-AD (First Ever Cycle)

Ok, I'm going to use this thread to chart the progress that I make with 1-AD. I'll keep it as detailed as possible.


Weight: 165 (i think, i may have to edit this)
Height: 5'9"
BF%: 8%
Max Bench: 205
Max Deadlift: 375
Max Squat: 265 (ass on the ground):thumb:

I'm currently doing a bench program designed by Shawn Phillips, and it basically surrounds your training with push-pull/opposing muscle group excercises. Today I trained my back and bi's really really hard, and I hit the punching bag for a bit.

Tomorrow I start taking the 1-AD

I think my split will look something like this:

Monday:

Flat Bench routine as assigned by Shawn Phillips.
Dumbell Press
2 shoulder excercises. (train on intuition)

Tuesday:

Back and Bi's.

Close grip pulldowns
Barbell Rows

(superset)
EZ bar curls.
Inclined bench curls

stiff legged deadlifts

Wednesday

Cardio

Thursday

Chest excercise #2 for the week.

2 triceps excercises of choice

Friday

Cardio

Saturday

Squats
Leg Presses
Legs Curls
Calf Raises
Barbell Curls

So, yeah, there you have it. I'll update as I go!

Feel free to list other things you'd like me to monitor in this therad.

On back day your doing stiff legged deadlifts. Although they do hit the back some, they are more of a hamstring exercise. I think regular deadlifts would be the better exercise on back day.

On leg day you have barbell curls, is this a typo error bc you already have a bi day.

The stiff-legged deads was actually a typo.

Also, the bench program i'm on actually has me doing arms twice a week, but I don't like that idea so much, so i won't completely exhaust the muscles on the second workout....hence just one workout.
 
what dosage of 1-ad are you taking and also how long of a cycle?
 
I'm going to start with the recommended dosage, three pills a day, for the first week. After the second week I'm going to do five a day until my two bottles run out, however long that may take...

I just got home from the gym. Quality leg day today....
 
Good luck man, hope it works for you. You should notice things in two weeks. Don't forget to eat like a madman!!!!
 
what is your diet like? how long have you been lifting before you decided to try ph's? i'm curious about trying ph's, but don't know if i'm ready and that disciplined yet (as far as dieting is concerned). i've only been lifting for a year.

my diet is about as strict a diet as you can find. i eat about 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight...per day...sometimes more... never less. i never eat trans fats, complex sugar (with the exception of a creatine transport) or high GI carbs..

i've been lifting on and off for about two years, but i got serious about it three months ago.

I just trained my chest today and it went quite well. No real noticeable strength gains, but that is to be expected after using the supplement for just two days.

Awesome, I appreciate it.

Right now I take:

Cell Tech- (Just one scoop, not a full serving...that's ridiculous)

Glutamine- 10 Grams a day

A multi-vitamin

EAS Strawberry Whey Protein- Probably 4 shakes a day.



I was thinking about getting some horny goatweed to counteract the reduced libido that is expected from 1-AD. What do you guys think about that? I don't want to try a stack yet (4AD), with this being my first time and all.
 
What kind of diet do you guys think I should adopt?

I'm pretty lean right now, and I'd like to stay that way throughout the cycle.

I was thinking maybe eating slow burning carbs with every other meal, and a lot of them.

Also, what do you guys think about the big protein bars? ...Nitro Tech Bars, Mesotech Bars...They have a lot of processed sugar, dont' they?
 
What diet are you following right now? As far as the bars, I've been given advice that they're not really that good for you especially if your dieting.
 
Nate, I recommend you end the cycle at 8 weeks, no matter if you have any 1-AD left or not. Also, how old are you? This will effect your results.
 
Why would you take 6oxo since 1-ad does not aromatize to estrogen?

1-ad converts to 1-test which is a DHT derivative and incapable of aromatizaiton.

If anything, you should take someting to kick start your own test production since 6 to 8 weeks on 1-AD can really slow it down.

I've done several cycles of 1-test and have never had a problem with side effects.

Yeah, I'm guessing my cycle will last no more than 6 weeks at the pace I'm going. I'm 20.
 
Today was the first day I've lifted in three days. I did my chest and a bit of shoulders.

I passed my failure test, and I'll be moving up on the chest program I'm doing. I felt a tad bit stronger today, but nothing really notable. I'm on my 6th day of 1-AD.

Also, my endurance has not seemed to improve yet, but it's still early in the cycle.

Tomorrow is back/bi's. I'll let you guys know how that goes.
 
so did you figure out what type of diet you're going to follow while you're on your cycle?

I'm still working on it.

I'm thinking six meals a day and somwhere in the 2500 calorie range...with moderate slow burning carbs. I'm starting to get hungry all the time now, which is much different than before..
 
do you think that's because of the 1-ad? have you noticed any fat loss?

Androgenic means male virilizing. I'm not sure if it would be considered and androgenic side effect, but I don't know if there really are any other kdis that are visible without tests. But the point is acne is not common with 1-AD although you may experience a slight increase in back acne, but this would be very light. Unless of course you're a rare individual whose extremely sensitive to these products, then you might have some bigger problems.
