To gain some mass can you use both 100% whey protein and a wt gainer? If so, what type of schedule do you use? Right now I am doing whey protein 3 times a day. So not to get fat, do 1 wt gainer in-between your whey??
Getting fat will be a function partially of your total caloric intake through the day. Spread your meals through the day to about 6 and you should be ok as far as that goes, but totals at the end of the day, and averages through the weeks and months count just as well as anything else.
Since much of the time carbs in those weight gainers are shyt carbs, dont rely on them over sources of quality foods.
I always advocate homemade weight gainer. Whey, peanut butter, and oats will make a nice shake that isn't loaded with sugar. Feel free to add other items as well, but those are the 3 base ingredients that I recommend due to being calorically dense in each of their respective macro categories.
