how long does it take you guys to put on 10lbs of lean muscle mass?

briefly describe how you do it? (ex: bulk for a month, cut the fat and boom!, heh)

Lift, Eat, Sleep..repeat

For about a year +

There is no magic (legal) formula.

Make sure to use the big 3 (squats, deads, bench)

It's simple, just takes A LOT of work.
 
I was reading Muscle and Fitness (don't laugh) magazine that most pro bodybuilders claim a gain of 10-12 pounds of lean muscle mass in 1 year. Heh, sometimes I wonder if this is true since some probably use steriods.

I think you really are in a decreasing rate of returns (these are made up numbers)

Year 1 - 10 -15 lbs
Year 2 - 8 -10 lbs
Year 3 - 6 - 8 lbs
Year 4 - 4 - 6 lbs
Year 5 and on 2 - 4 lbs

If this weren't the case people who started lifting when they were in their late teens would all be 300 lb monsters in their mid 30's.

just my humble opinion.

Body Builders may gain 10 -12 a year but they also likely loose 6 - 9
