20 Rep Squat Program Warmup?

The same warm up you would do if you were doing a 10 rep set, or even a 5 rep set.

I warmed up with about 8-10 minutes of stationary bike, Some deep squats without using any weight at all, some good stretching, a couple sets of light weight squats, 6-8 reps and then I hit it.
It's more a mental thing rather than a physical.

If it was more of a mental thing, I'm surprised you could remember the first four warm-up steps.:hmmm::hehe:

The program doesn't suggest a warm up?

When I used to do high rep squats I would warm up like this if my working set was 275 lbs (after a dynamic warm up)

45x10
135x10
225x5
275x20

I pretty much run right through the warm ups. Then I would rest about 2-3 minutes before the 20 rep set.

No, you misunderstood me. I meant I used telekinesis and squated the bar with my mind! :flex:

The same warmup you would perform before any exercise: one that physically and mentally prepares you for the specific higher intensity exercise you will be performing that day.

A general fullbody warmup using dynamic flexibility, maybe a short CV warmup, then a few exercise-specific warmup sets. The quantity and form of these elements will depend on what you're doing, your ability to cope with it, and how quickly you get warmed up.

In a nutshell: whatever you would usually do before squats.
