this is a perfect example of why the US does not allow foreign news to be broadcast into the US. Outside of the US (and the UK), you see this stuff on tv and in newspapers all the time.

I would be more surprised that there are still production jobs in the U.S. in 2052.

there won't be much left I suspect by then. several other US economists have written reports stating that in the next 30 years any worker in the US w/o a 4 year degree and working in their field will be earning 1960's wages once adjusted for inflation.

so basically the poverty level in terms of income by then will have risen to the point where anybody that makes less than about 100k a year or less will be "poor". because 65-70K in todays money has the same buying power as 30K had 3 decades ago.
