I read a looooong time ago here in IM the "3 rules of 3's" or something... been searching Google and this forum but I can't find it.

It was about reasons why gym members quit. It was something like:

1. They lose interest after 3 months.
2. If the gym location is more than 30 minutes away, they'd rather just stay home.

...and I can't remember the 3rd one. I was wondering if anyone remember seeing it.

Thanks in advance! :winkfinger:

lazy
dont train properly thus dont get the results they want
dont eat properly while training
too cheap

that too, people will use any excuse to not get off their butt's! Why Diet's are so popular because the world if full of people who want to blame something else for their failures

3. Getting in shape takes more work then they thought

3. They quit as soon as they figure out it's hard work and real progress takes time.

Most of us have spent years in the gym, training through injuries, dieting, and pushing ourselves HARD to make the progress we do.

Gear helps, no doubt, but it is no substitute for diligence and effort (training sick, tired, hurt - regardless, training and diet are priority).
