Like it says I am 31 years old and wanting to dabble in some type of enhancing supplements. What would you recommend starting with? I want to avoid a needle. Would like some pointers on pill form.

Anything else you need to know about me to determine advice just go ahead and ask.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone of Ironman capsules will do you good check them out.

What are your stats, goals and lifting history? Can't really help you if we know nothing about you or your goals.

5'10" 175lbs. Wanting to gain mass. I've been lifting on and off for a couple years now. Just not seeing the results that I want. I just want to gain size. I've been doing the whole protein shake and weight gainer to little avail.

My 1RM's are Squat 205. Bench 185. I haven't tested my DL yet. I usually do a 1x5 at around 200-225.

Well first off I'll start with saying you're wasting your money on weight gainer shakes. You can just eat a bunch if crap and get better results. Secondly, whats your diet look like? Most who say they eat a lot in fact eat very little for what their goals are. Clean food isn't calorie dense do it takes a lot of it. Before you jump into aas, my best advice for you so you don't waste your time or money is get your diet in check and make sure you're eating enough. Once that is done the aas will be able to fully work for you to help you achieve your goals. If you start before you know how to eat then you'll loose most if not all that you gained because you're not eating enough to maintain what you've gotten from it.

Great advice.. i wish I would have known that 10 years ago and I would have saved myself some $$$

I eat everything in sight. I track it all on myfitnesspal. I generally get 3,000 to 3,500 cals a day. Maybe add more? I try to steer clear of sugary stuff like candy and soda (although I do enjoy it ever now and then). I eat plenty of veggies and fruits as well.

How active are you? What does a typical days diet look like? Crap good and all.

I am fairly active. I workout 4 days a week on an upper/lower split. I play softball with the guys about 1-2 a week. I drive a hyster for work so I sit 12 hours a day for 4 days a week.

Typical diet day would look like this:
Today for instance,

Breakfast - Banana and a protein shake.

Snack - Orange and some almonds (or some sort of nuts)

Lunch - Foot long subway on wheat. Spicy italian. Loaded with veggies.

Snack - Protein shake and some kind of fruit (generally an apple)

Dinner - 3-4 slices of pizza

Snack - PB&J sandwich

Thats about what I'm eating tonight.

As far as PEDs you gotta take some time to learn about it. When you say, "I want to avoid a needle. Would like some pointers on pill form," tells me you have a lot of reading to do. One of the biggest misconception when it comes to steroids is that injections are "hardcore" and pills are much safer. For the time being take everyone's advice and master your diet while simultaneously reading about gear (visit all the forums you can.. read all the stickies, that's a good place to start). By next spring your diet will hopefully in check and you'll be ready for your first basic cycle (Test only imo).

If it doesn't sound like enough then keep in mind that my shakes are around 800-900 cals each.

2 scoops powder
2 tbs peanut butter
Half cup oats
16 oz whole milk
Banana

lol just bustin ya chops man. I'm sure you know your diet is pretty bad. Spend some time reading. Stop eating subway and pizza. Learn to cook. It will save you money too.
Oh I know man. It's cool. I love to cook. I just don't have the time to do it every day. I work 12-16 hours a night. So after I get off and hit the gym I'm spent. It sucks. Haha

That's a great basic shake to have when bulking. Like you said, you want to gain size right now so id drink that shake with breakfast and post workout.

You gotta gotta be eating quality whole foods though. As i said earlier, learn to cook.

One alternative is to pick just ONE night of the week and devote that to mass cooking. When i worked long hours i took Sunday to cook all my meals for the week. Try that.

I've been thinking of doing that. I guess I need to stop thinking and do it. Haha.

Once you start seeing results you wont look back. It will become an addiction. Good luck and have fun.

Don't juice till next spring.. we'll still be here to help you out when the time comes.

Thanks for the help man.

THIS! I also work a lot of 12-16 hour days and if I don't pre-cook meals like this my diet is a disaster!

Also, your preference for Oral AAS may be misguided. To be useful orally, AAS usually need to be methylated, and they often stress and damage the liver if run too high, too long, or too often. Some seem to have an iron liver but why take bigger risks with your health than you need to. Usually gains are short lived from oral-only cycles too so the risks are there but the benefits are not. Spend that time before next spring or whenever getting diet straight, working on finding more effective training methods/routines, and read the hell out of the boards until you learn all you need to know about gear before you decide to take the plunge.

Ask all the questions you like along the way...
