Hey Everybody,
I have using the Jim Wendler 5/3/1 program for the past few months now, and I can definitely see a change in my strength profile. Prior to this, I was using a body builder style program (more sets and reps, but not as much weight). I was curious how many others on here have tried the 5/3/1 program, and what have been your thoughts/results.
One major difference I can admit to is that the 5/3/1 brings a different focus to my workouts (than I had with my BB work-out). With the BB work out it was always tough to judge how successful I was from one workout to the next (the measure of success was more on a month to month basis, hoping to see noticeable changes in my physique). But with the 5/3/1 program, I'm able to gauge my successful on a daily workout basis (either you hit your PR, or you don't). That is a real motivator for me.
I look forward to seeing how other feel about this program
