seems that prices are coming down a little but you have to be on the look out for sales. I was able to pick up 20K rounds of M855 from a wholesaler for $9k on gunbroker.com

I keep guns and ammo at all of my houses which are in different parts of the country. I realized a couple of weeks ago that I had a lot more firearms than ammo and am started to stock up on it just so I don't have to worry about it anymore. when stored properly the stuff keeps for an easy 20-50 years.
also, some of it is going out for xmas gifts from some friends that don't have the funds.
I'm sure there is, that purchase was split up into 2 separate orders. I guess that makes sense now as that's how the seller wanted it to be done.
And yes prices are coming down again. I'm on gun/ammo sites almost everyday.
I ordered 20 complete BCG's from a manufacturer 6 months ago and I the gf told me they just arrived in the mail yesterday, fucking crazy.

Keep enough ammo on hand to avoid any lapses in store stock, mitigate price increases, and ensure you always have some in case some politician decides to ban it. Been slowly buying when I can find it cheap.
