Hey everyone whats up.

Been off the shelf for five full months, just got back in the gym 3 weeks ago:(

I'm very upset with myself for falling off like this. One week just turned into two weeks and so on....

Anyway anyone else ever fall off ship like this before. I was just wondrering what to expect? Like how long will it take to get me back to the level i was at before my layoff.

My motivation is kind of lacking along with my strength. I know summer is right around the corner i hope i'm not too late.

Does anyone think there is any positives out of this 5 month slack?
i guess not....

Any feed back would be appreciated.
well its good to be back..........

oh yeah the picture and stats are out-dated.

30 yrs old/160 lbs.

bp max= 225

It's never too late. Make the cardio part of your workout fun or at least something you don't mind doing 3-5 times per week (like biking, swimming, etc.) and you'll be less likely to fall off the ship again. Long term fitness is a lifestyle change for some of us, your workout has gotta be something you can live with.

It shouldn't take too long to get back TBH. i took a month out a couple of weeks ago i lost about 8lbs i've nearly gained it all back in just two weeks. My strength is still abit down though.

Muscle has memory and you should be back in decent condition in a few months.

One time I took a planned layoff of 4 days............... and didn`t train again for 7 years..............had a lot of personal problems but I sure regret it.

That being said,I never miss a workout nowadays, and I advise you to re-focus, and stay hungry...........it gets harder to comeback every time you quit..............especially as you get older.

Daddy went said he was going to the store and we never saw him again. haha. I laughed when I first read this for some reason.

Oh yea. I was forced to take about 5 months off because of an injury. This is actually my first week back in the gym since early December. I have not lost any of my size but nearly all the strength that I had built up is gone. I am hoping that since my muscle hasnt really shrank, well actually im not sure what it has done but I havent gotten smaller, I hope strength will come more easily this time.

I tried to escape using that trick one time, but they tracked me down and brought me back home!! :( :D

heh, ive been off for 4. gonna jump back into it later this week. if ive been off for several months, it takes about a month to get all the way back up. after i was gone for a year after my back surgery, it took me about 6 weeks to get back up to speed.
