I call it the 7-11 diet. If anyone cares, I was able to cut 25 lbs in 3 months by keeping my protein intake high with whey, and cutting my calories to bet 2000 and 2500 per day.

I call it the 7-11 diet for 2 reasons.
Firstly because I only allowed myself 700 cals by 11am, and after that it was 1000 cals by 1pm, 1500 by 5pm. I finish my day after eve workout with chicken veggie soup for a daily of 2200-2500 cals per day. I didn't count unlimited coffee and apples per day (my snacks). I also didn't count my whey supplement calories at all. I kept my protein high and didn't really deny myself carbs. light cardio with 3 -4 full body lifting workouts per week.

The 2nd reason I call it the 7-11 diet:
Many will hate this, but much of my daily meal cals were Cliff bars, Met Rex bars, and misc protein bars. Most of these DID come from 7-11.

Just thought others might want to hear a real story. Oh, plenty of vitamins, glutamine, and EFA's. This was a cutting diet. I was a muscular 220 plus to 195 cut.

I frimly believe you can eat whatever as long as you keep protein up, add vitamins and count calories. Workouts too of course. I would say that you could probably cut your daily maintenance cals by 1000 and still keep the muscle (depending on metabolism). It isn't brain surgery like I thought. Just calories in v calories out.

Any thoughts?
