I saw that one when it was released. I recognised almost everyone. I read the post under it which said "i guess all the singers here were very popular at their time .. most of them i cant recognize..." and felt sooo old

Don't feel too bad. . .I showed that clip to college students at the beginning of the semester and they asked me to identify everyone. They knew Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Ray Charles (only because of the recent movie), and Diana Ross. Almost everyone else drew a blank to them. . .even Cindy Lauper. . .

My spouse did that song in sign langauge for high school.

Kenny Rogers, Lionel Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon........to name a few.

Oh yeah...don't you remember when they set a time and every radio station all over the world stopped and played this song? And I'm not sure if it was this one too - but they did that "hands across America" thing where people all met and at a set time stood along a highway and linked hands. . .
