Ab work out and weight gain?

I have 2 questions. I was wondering what is the best way to work your abs to get them on the way to a six pack........adn also i have been working out 3x a week for a mounth or so now I have not gained a pound I still am 130# (5'9) I have noticed I have been toning up a little bit but thats it. I know i am not supposed to see significant results untill 3 mouths or so but should i been gaining a lil wieght after a month. Anyways what is your opinon on protein shakes think they will help me out?
 
Sounds like you need more calories. You can't get enough protein when trying to build muscle. YOU need at least 130 grams per day, probably more. As far as abs go, I do 50 crunches every morning. That works for me.
 
I am trying to eat 460 grams of protein a day. I eat and eat and eat even when I can't stuff another bite in. I have gained only 3 lbs in the last month. You can't get your six pack and gain weight at the same time. Just keep lifting and eating and the weight will start to go up. I know it is hard, because we want to see those abs. Just try to keep your bf % around 10-12 and when it is time to cut you won't have far to go.

just eat wholesome food with alot of protein and clas. you should have 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight . try to eliminate cardio and work out with heavy weight if u can get more then 8 reps it is not enuff weight. Protein shakes will definatly help.

HORSE MEAT!!! for god sakes no 1 ever had horse meat. i eat horse meat 2 a week. u can find horse meat anywhere. there's more protein in horse meat than in chicken!! go to the store and ask 4 horse meat. try it you'll love it!!!
