Hey guys, i was wondering if there was anything wrong with my diet/plan. I'm 5'11 and weigh about 175 pounds. I'm not sure of my body fat percentage but i'm pretty okay allover my body except my belly. Seems to have a load of fats there, but i'm not sure if its all fats or maybe just fats covering muscles, or something. If i relax my stomach it looks really gross, but when i flex/pose it doesnt look that bad.

Anyway enough of that shit, here's my eating plan.

Breakfast-
Bowl of rice,2 eggs, a chicken drumstick and a cup of coffee.

10a.m Break
2 Bowls of rice with chicken pieces roughly 200 grams of it

12p.m I've got to rush to training so i only can eat a little
-2 pieces of wholemeal bread with natural peanut butter

Training(rugby) all the way till' 6.
Usually consists of sprinting, acceleration work, a circuit style gym program and a team run ( we split the team up and play a few games )

Right after training-
500ml of chocolate milk
A protein shake (40g)

Dinner at 7:30
Bowl of rice, around 200grams of meat , loads of vegetables and fruits

Before bedtime meal around 11-12:
Protein shake consisting of 2 scoop (40g) , 600ml of skim milk, 1 tablespoon of flax seed oil and if possible a banana.

Is there anyway i can improve on this? ( specially during school )
And every time i eat, i remember myself that i'm bulking , then i'll look at my stomach and then i'll think of cutting. But the kind if figure i am looking for is more of a huge bulked person( such as some powerlifters ). Anything wrong with my head? :confused:

Statistics for calories
Carbohydrates =>405g (38%)
Proteins =>251g (24%)
Fats =>182g (38%)
Total calorie intake =>4310
Oh god i just realised that my fats intakes is fuckin high. oh god

Fats
Saturated => 62.7g
Polyunsaturated =>30.3g
Monounsaturated =>69.6g

Open to ANY criticism (unless its stupid ones)

I dont understand your problem. Your macs and cals are fine for bulking. As long as your gaining about 1lb a week, any more than that and its most likely fat gain.

What else do you want advice about?

List specific questions.
 
So you are going from 12 to 6 without eating? and doing lots of intense work all in between?
Wow. I would say try to sneak a snack right before practice.

However it is also my season starting in a few months time. Should i bulk up now? or just maintain until season is over, where i'll have a break and i can play my things properly.

How much fat you put on during a bulk isnt really down to the foods you eat, but the total cals. If you want a clean bulk I would eat about 200-300cals over maint. <<whatever that is for you.

What is your sport? What specific physical attributes are beneficial?
 
I wouldnt worry much about your fat intake at that level. I would prefer lower sats but I get a ton. I would try to get some more protein with all of that running though. If you are going six hours without eating it sucks for you. If youre bulking forget about looking at your stomach. You will gain some fat on a bulk. Clean or dirty is only answered by tracking your results. I would try to get some more chickenbreast or tuna or lean something in there. Why not track everything now anyways so you can know what youre up against. I've never played rugby and don't want to but I know you better have some extra extra calories if you're planning on bulking while training in such a sport. You may find yoruself barely maintaining. This way you will know for later though.

I used to play a lot, then about a year and a half ago damaged the ligaments in my left knee. Thinking about starting again next year.

What position to you play? <<This will prob answer a lot of the questions you have as to how to tailor your training.

I don't know. I can be pretty tough once I get pissed off but, yea, I have NO desire to play rugby. I just could take getting hit with pads on! At 32, I've generally shied away from the idea of sports that actually allow you to try to end someones career if done properly! Plus my family doesn't have the best knee genes.
